Max gave a small, inaudible sigh. Her humor was lost on him, it seemed...though what he said about the tattoo. "...ta get back here...? Ya really like 'im, doncha?" She asked, getting a second wind to try and help him to a seat.

I'm sorry, but who's this guy? all I know is that he know's the captive whom I've also never met and he has a miserable life.
...you know, I haven't seen that rune symble before myself... and I learned nearly all of them from the discoverer of magic himself... before he died, that is. Lived to be three millenia old, and then died underneath a pile of spell books... tch.

Laura looked up from her work and gave a small nod. "I'll go and see if Mr. MacPere is upstairs." She chirped, clopping to her intended destination with a smile.
A short while later, MacPere descended the stairs, rubbing over an eye with his hand. "Hello..." He murmured with a sleepy breath, pulling the best smile he could. "How may I help you?"
