Chris was downstairs at his usual table, reading the paper. It was calm in the Inn and the weather outside was decent. Perfect for hopping on the bike and going for a ride.

Chris fell silent and his gaze went to the table. After a few moments, he finally managed to speak. "The thing is...with everything I've been dealing with lately...it was just..." He was embarrassed to say anything more and fell silent again.
