Jean-Luke shook his head in reply to Tyler's apology, passing it off. He strangely enjoyed Fritz's purring... it ran alongside his own processor. How strange.

"I'd never wish that on anyone, you know," Sosol's mug had long since been empty and cool, but he held onto it anyway. "Still, being able to come out to the public about it...that's wonderful. I'm not sure if I could be so courageous in the same situation."
Tyler nodded, humming as he glanced back toward the kitchen. Az was taking her sweet time...shrugging it off, he sipped at the cocoa, enjoying a reasonably quiet evening. Well, at least until James came back downstairs...

Tyler chuckled, the simple thought of some young woman with Gren's picture on her wall incredibly amusing paired with chocolate and peppermint. "As long as we don't get any crazy stalkers...we've had enough of those for a year."
Sosol, on the other hand, shuddered...all that attention would make itself known to him, and it would completely creep him out...sure, accidentally getting pieces of others' thoughts was aggravating, but when they were about him...

Kristen opened the door to the Inn, tracking in a little snow before closing the door behind her. She looked around to the room, dressed surprisingly light for winter. "Good evening...is my sister-in-law here?"
"Try the kitchen," Tyler tilted his head back towards it. "She's been in there a while, though..."
"Not even a hello?" Sosol said, faking anguish.

"I would never forget you, Brother. It is...incredibly convenient, Gren," Kristen grinned, a soft glow emitting from her pendant as she shed her jacket. "I never realized I had this affinity until I arrived here...thank you."
Tyler finished his cocoa, gaze fixed on Kristen. After a minute, he stood and walked back for the kitchen in her stead, finding it empty. "She's not here!" He called back out, switching out cups for something a little less rich. As he waited for the bizarre machine to fill his order, he pulled off his glasses, cleaning them of dust on his shirt. Now that the whole asylum episode was over, he had been getting back to previous projects and ideas...and one of them was a vague, nagging concern about Kristen's fire.

Kristen shook her head, pulling the small green orb from her pocket. "It gets uncomfortable after a while, I noticed..."
"So that's all from your pendant...?" Sosol asked, intrigued. He had never known much about Kageko's gift...but it seemed to be incredibly helpful to his little sister. "And I know what you mean...I haven't had mine with me in days..."
