"Do you have any idea how hard it is to just keep this from turning into a mess on the floor?" Sosol asked, doing what he could to follow Howard's directions. Slowly...careful...
Kristen nodded, the flames going from two orbs to a series of rings encircling Sosol's batter-ball. "I will hold steady, Brother. Take your time."
"Yes, we must seem to be from your perspective," Terry chuckled, flipping the coin.

(So sorry, Gren! But I've been studying my arse off for finals, especially chemistry...)
Felix hugged the tiny girl. "Took me a bit longer to recover than I thought it would. Sorry to disappoint, Piglet." He nuzzled into her hair.
Manny watched the two with a sigh before turning his attention to the chibi, chirping as he sniffed curiously at it.
Henge stroked the sleeping kitten in his lap gently, enjoying the touch of fur against his human hand.

The chocobo and the man looked at each other, both at each other's eye level because of Laimu's unusual height.
"Does that child 'ave a tail?"
"I think it is,

Howard apologized.

Manny turned his attention from the chibi when he heard the rhyming.
"Have a tail I do
Though what it may be to you
I have not a clue"
He grinned broadly and let out a trilling chirp, "Rhyming Haiku!"
Henge leaned back on his black bone arms, turning his head to glance at the man, the chocobo, and the former inmate. He continued to stroke Fritz's back gently, though he was tuned to the stranger's conversation.

He pointed a wingtip at Laimu.
"... and Chock-o-lot."
He pointed to himself, Chocolat.

And Henge is he!" The raptor pointed at the four-armed dragon boy with the long black spaded tail that rested near the fire.
Henge gave a slight wave with his free hand as he was introduced.

Laimu and Chocolat moved with the fluidity of being brothers to Henge, nodding and waving, then turning back to Manny.

Charlotte hummed happily against the large cat-man. He'd been a comfortable pillow the entire night, and lacking new assignments or orders, she'd slept lightly and happily. Yawning, she meandered from the room and began eating a bowl of cereal.

The chocobo let out a deep warble.

He stepped over to Charlotte to suck up to her whilst Laimu retreated upstairs in the meantime, he'd remembered that there was a certain device in his possession that needed fixing.

Hopping up from her seat, Charlotte trotted into the kitchen, holding up a box of Raisin Bran. "This okay?"
Gren sat down quietly with a wave to Laimu, beginning to prepare statements for potential questions.

Chocolat bobbed his head up and down on his long neck, snapping open his beak.
Before Laimu could reach the stairs, he stopped in his tracks as Gren waved. Never one to ignore a kindness, he walked over with a friendly smile.
"Gren, good sir, it's good to see
You're looking well here, thankfully."
