Nya nodded. "We need to tell who ever's here that that man is gone, but that he knows about this place and may come back since he now knows it isn't as abandoned as he would have thought if I hadn't used one of my charms."

yeah, find the other demons
(ryoshi starts to jump from tree to tree, dropping his sword in the process)

Nya saw him drop his swod and picked it up, deciding she would give it back to him when she could. She went the other way with the sword strapped to her back while she looked around for any other demons.

the gem in the sword starts to glow white
"what do you desire"

Nya screamed when she suddenly heard some one talk to her. She dropped the sword off her back and jumped a good 10 feet away from it, her ears flattened against the top of her head and her eyes wide. She stared at it for a moment and turned to Byakko who was right beside her. "Hey, uh, Byakko. Do you love your Nya?"
Byakko huffed, obviously meaning 'Not enough to go mess with that thing if that's what you're asking.'

"What is it, love, money, power, respect?
i can grant it all to you, just grasp my handle and let me take you over"
the sword starts to glow from white to red
"Grasp my handle, and it's all yours"

Nya carefully inched her way over to the sword and looked it over for a minute before carefully picking it up by the blade, making sure not to cut herself. "I don't want anything Mister Possed Sword Thing. I just want to get you back to Ryoshi before something bad happens. I've read all the books on when something says it'll grant a wish to some one, and they usually don't end well." She carried the sword by the blade, the handle away from her, and started looking for Ryoshi.

"I see, a smart one you are, what if i were to say that i know"
ryoshi comes over and takes the sword by the handle, immediately the sword stops glowing
"good thing your not the greedy kind, or we'd all be screwed

"Trust me, I've seen what things like that can do first hand. I had a brother. Note the word had. Let's just say that he had one of those one wish things and it didn't end well for him."
Byakko sat down and tilted his head down while raising one paw, as thought he were paying respect.

"well, that's what you get for being greedy.
anyways, i haven't seen anything, not even a footstep, which is weird because we did see an oni house"

Nya growled a little. "So I guess wanting to protect your whole village no matter what counts as being greedy. Good to see you think that way of Nyu." She turned and stomped off with an annoyed look on her face and her ears flattened against her head. She went into one of the houses and started sniffing around, trying to pick up a scent.
Byakko watched her stomp off, but decided he'd be safer not following her since the claws on her gloves had been out as she left, so she'd probably clam the crud out of what ever crossed her path.

"nya!, i didn't...ah, there's no use"
ryoshi looks around, not seeing any movement
"there should at least be animals and bugs, what's going on here?"
ryoshi starts to walk towards a opening in the forest

Byakko watches Ryoshi and decides to follow him to keep him safe if something were to happen, knowing Nya could keep herself out of trouble for the moment she was upset. He sniffed the ground, finding the scent of a rabit again.

turns around and bows
"i'm sorry, i didn't mean it like that"
ryoshi spreads out his arms
