[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

[Zulma san]

Zulma smiled at the knight. "I am doing fine..." she paused. "...it seems much better than you." she poured him some tea. "Here to warm you up."

The Innkeeper looked at the girl with a smile and a sigh. She was not entirely wrong acknowledged the blond hair woman. "I think there is some hope though..." she tried to temper the girl's words.

He thanked Zulma as he accepted the tea. "I still haven't seen any sign of Jack of Blades, Kage, or Zefi. I searched all day and found nothing. I'll likely set out again in the morning after I've rested."

Turning to the newcomers, he said "So what's this about reforming SIN?"  

[Zulma san]

"I am not sure that I want to wish that you will have more luck tomorrow." she said gently. The war was over and she did not want anymore blood shed, but she could not stop the knight if he wanted to confront Jack.  

[Cerberus77]

Blinking a few times, Cerberus took a bit of the snack as he asked, "Shadow...? I think I've heard of him. Can't remember." Remembering the later question, the young man answered, "Everything. I want to change SIN into something to depend on, not something to fear. They group has the power to become something great, but most of them lose themselves too much in their wants. Then again they’re all so young…"

Taking another sip- this time minus the hiss- Cerberus added, "Sorry...I'm rambling again."

Zefi wandered through the open rooms checking minds quickly so she didn't intrude on something... private... she finally gave up and went back to her room only to find a pair of fresh jeans and a t-shirt... her t-shirt from when she was first here... except now the torn t-shirt was mended and Zefi looked at it with curiosity... She quickly changed outfits glad to be in familiar clothes and wandered downstairs...

Zefi saw knightsoul and ran her nimble six year old body over too him and hugged him gently... "So umm... hi!" She said brightly  

[Zulma san]

"Don't apologize." said Zulma with a sad smile. "Hoping for a better world is a rare quality in those days. Sadly so many have lost the will to hope for anything." she sighed. She thought about Karasu who had left the Inn the day before. She missed him dearly. She did not want to be here, safe in this place. She wanted to be by his side. Chasing her thought, she took a sip. She truly wish that MacPere or Gren were there to play some music.

"Well, I think it could be a good idea."

"Sounds noble. Good luck with that." He applauded the man's ambitions, and hoped only the best in his cause.

Turning back to Zulma, he said "Worry not, dear lady. I don't intend to harm him unless he intends me harm. I'm only trying to find him to get him to lift the curse he placed on Kage. Maybe if he leaves her alone, she'll come back to us." He looked around the inn. "Maybe it's me, but this place seems...smaller without her here. Less lively."

Zefi hugged him, and he felt pure joy at her return. "Hello, child. I am enormously relieved to see you well."

Leyomi watched the conversation with curiosity, wondering who Kage was as the drank her tea.
She wished she had brought along some sort of musical instrument instead of just art supplies.

Knowing full well that Leyomi's words were the truth, Cerberus could only say, "I know, but...if I don't try, who will? Granted this can't happen anytime soon. I'm just your average captain. The higher ups won't listen to me."

At last done with his drink, he looks up and, sensing the mood change at the mention of Jack, could only think to ask one thing.

"Did Jack do something to you all...?"

"Miss Zulma Mam do you have any um... crackers?" Zefi asked the kind shining woman.

Knightsoul told the newcomers all about Jack of Blades, the SIN soldier who was tracking Kageko for spying on SIN during the war. He told them of the terrible battle two nights ago where Jack cursed Kage and severly wounded him when he tried to get in the way.

"oh thats why you all disappeared..." Zefi said in a smaller voice no longer very cheerful...  

[Zulma san]

Zulma smiled at Zefi. "I have crackers...and cheeses...and grapes." she put everything on a plate for the young one. "Here you go!"
Zulma ignored the discussion about Jack.
