"I couldn't watch it...too nervous 'bout how Gren'd take the limelight. Heard he did awesome, though! Well, murderous basket case aside," Max nodded, thinking for a moment before pulling out her smartphone and sending off a message. A lot of her friends list were talking about the conference nonstop, especially since someone got a little footage of herself and Tyler cutting through the crowd. Maybe she could use this to help...

"Well, they did arrest the guy...so I guess he feels a bit safer for now. Ty's workin' his butt off, though, gettin' Johnny back on his feet fast." Max couldn't blame him for that...the guy leapt in during a freaking press conference. He didn't seem to have much worry about, well, anything.

Stella walked downstairs, stretching as she went. Just because she was on sick leave didn't mean she had to stay holed up in that room all the time. Besides, she wasn't feeling that bad...

(*paused in the middle of the thought "Gren's arriving home " while reading post* Would bringing him in be awkward? He's in no mood to fight anyone, so he wouldn't be tossing dirty looks or anything.)
"Well, you know, they're releasing Ocarina of Time on it. I can't lie, if my heart were beating, it would have stopped. But if this turns into one of those 'Gift of the Magi' things where you get a system and I get a game, you can take first crack." he said, smiling cheesily.

"Things got incredibly busy," Stella answered cordially, nodding and waving as she vanished into the kitchen for a mug of tea.

With a cold breeze, Gren entered, placing his instrument case by the door and shivering as he hung his coat. "Evening, all..." he said tiredly, promptly making his way to a couch by the fire and flopping down. Heat and quiet were all he wanted, after being held up for an hour outside after work for interviews and random people chatting with him. He closed his eyes, content to lie there indefinitely.
Remy snickered. "It's like he's gonna hibernate."

"Evenin', Gren!" Max called. "We were talkin' 'bout Christmas gifts...ya want anythin'? Besides the paparazzi off your butt?"
Stella froze in the kitchen as she heard the greeting, but immediately admonished herself for it. This was his inn...it would have been stupid to assume she'd avoid him the whole time. With a deep breath and a silent prayer to the stars above, she skirted the mistletoe and walked back into the main room, keeping quiet as she found a table and let him be.
