"It flew in after knocking at the door, gave me a patronizing look...the way she died doesn't kill her kinda vampire...makes sense. I'm calling it Angeles anyway, and if it's not her, then it's a nice memorial bat." reported Charlotte, proud. "Didja have fun?"

"Angeles was human when she died," Azana corrected her, walking out with two mugs, "but the bat's welcome to carry her name. Seems fitting." She handed one to Sosol before sipping at the other, grateful for the warmth.

"That certainly sounds like her, though Az is right," Sosol took the mug with a nod of thanks. "As for the lessons...she's getting there."

"He's exaggerating. I suck," Azana countered, simply waiting for that slight nagging ache that came from warming bruises. She was used to it, sure...but it didn't make it a pleasant experience. To the voice, both of them looked up to it.

"It's a guy?" They asked in unison, looking to one another. "Guess Angeles is out...got a name?"

"Ice skating? I'm disappointed you didn't invite me," Terry said from the stairs, yawning for an unknown reason. "I don't mind the time with Stella, though she's giving me a crash course in moderation. I'd love something else to do."

Fenyx wrote down a note on a piece of paper.

Dear denizens of the Inn,

I'm sure that you probably will not mind, but I may suddenly die at any moment. It is an effect of the Celestriad, I'm sure, as the relic seems to have taken the energy from the years ahead of me, simply to give myself power immediately... I was a fool to seek it. If I end up dying, though, you may do what you wish with the body, if there is one. There might not be, as I may have absorbed enough magical energy to allow myself to turn into magicite, like an esper would. If this happens, treat the crystal like you would any other powerful magical item. Magicite are very rare, and they have special properties. For one, when it touches one's bare skin, they will slowly gain the abilities of the esper contained. Also, the user of the magicite can also use it to summon the esper, at least for a few minutes. The esper is under their complete control, though, and will have all of the abilities that they had at the time of their death. Though... some magicite are powerful enough to control lesser beings, for example the fallen god Hina's magicite, embedded in the hilt of the sword Hina, controlled myself in a future where I didn't obtain the ring, or Raia's magicite currently controls a rabbit, though, in this case, it is called a soulstone, and they aren't called espers, but demons.

Aaaaanyway, I'm rambling, so... As for the Celestriad, please destroy it, if possible. Handle it with utmost care, as, if you touch it with bare hands, its effect, and poison, will apply to you, useless to those without magic, dangerous for those with magic. What is done is done, though, so I will keep the ring with me at all times, until I am killed by it. It is not any of your curses to bear.

When I die, make word of this reach Shalmii, Ayase, Raia, Sentinel, and Hina as soon as you can reach them.

After setting the note in a conspicuous location, Fenyx then teleported to his room and started packing his stuff to transport to his castle.

((Not quitting, but getting rid of my most over-powered, god-modding character in a few weeks, after I wrap some stuff up. Also, making the Celestriad not a ridiculously powerful item.))

"Someone's in a sour mood," Sosol commented, looking to Hana. "What's got you so upset?" He walked toward his normal station, but stopped short, finding a rather long note (compared to others left). He hadn't really been keeping track of Fenyx's whereabouts or doings after the asylum raid, but it now seemed that his constant quest for magical power and impossible artifacts was getting him killed.

Frowning, he pocketed the note...news like this always needed a human touch. After all, despite his antics, he had actually helped a lot of people here. Those amulets for Gren and Eli, Azana's Ghost Cloak and card blade, even those two cards they themselves fashioned (but had no idea what they contained). He will be missed, I'm sure...

Hana took another long swig before replying. "I've been 'awake' for almost a week. If you hadn't slept in that long, you'd probably be kinda cranky too." He tried to keep the venom from his voice, but failed.

"Oh, I don't know..." Hana snarled, voice thick with sarcasm as he took a couple of gulps of liquor, "Maybe the combination of being kidnapped, beaten, and the sudden disappearance of the one person he has felt close to in ten years?"

"Well, there's a new guy in here that calls himself Enra, but I find him far less savory." added Charlotte, playing with some Lincoln Logs. "Anyone who goes out of their way to point out that I'm young is kind of a jerk, if you ask me."
