"Well, aren't you developing a vocabulary?" Terry asked, impressed as he sipped his tea. "It is complex...a little too much for laymen like me, I guess."

Howard returned with child Albee, whose eyes were wide open in awe at the knowledge of some unknown secret. Howard joined Terry and Eri while Albee went over to stare at Remy and Max.

"Eh, so I gotta take an extra pill each day. Big deal," she smirked, tracing a line on his chest with a single finger. "I think it's totally worth it. Oh, hey, ya guys...thought playin' heroes would be fun. B'sides, I could totally join the Knights sometime if they don't mind my bein' a little tiny."
Terry grinned before blinking as the chibi's bizarre English registered. "I should've guessed...you're down here for a reason. Alright...let's see what I can do for her!" Giving a friendly nod to Gren, he headed back for the kitchen.

Gren nodded politely with a smile. He liked Terry. "I don't know what her favorite is, sorry..."
"Besides, they say garlic's good for you...you take enough supplements, you're healthy as can be." he grinned, tapping his nose. "And believe me, I am more than grateful...c'mon, shall we take this upstairs, or let the peanut gallery make more comments?" chuckled the man, patting Albee's head gently.

Gren chuckled, leafing through a dog-eared novel. Since it seemed his hated guest wasn't leaving any time soon, he decided he'd try forgetting her for a while. He doubted either of them had healed well since their fight, and he was in no mood to test that particular scab yet. As for Terry's interest in her, he couldn't deny that people singing her praises annoyed him. However, when describing her, he'd never once mentioned her status or wealth, and this showed promise.
'To hell if Eli doesn't like him. Terry likes her. If she gets to like Terry and be happy with him, all for the better.' he decided, sipping his tea serenely.
"Captain Hemophage fears no foe! Come, let us escape to the secret lair!" Scooping her up, he laughed with a somewhat efforted trot up the stairs. "KaPWING!"

Albee frowned, crossing his arms. He'd so show lost his sense of humor, walking upstairs to his room rather than follow them.
Howard saw Albee's frown and frowned. What was his deal?

Enra has retreated to his room, laid out on his bed and staring at the ceiling. He'd tried touching his hair again where the catboy had touched him, but there was no reaction. Everything simply giving him a larger headache. In the midst of his pain, something was pieced together in his mind. On several occasions, she had mentioned knowing the
catboy well. The only way that could have happened was if she had been in the Inn long enough. And if that was so... Hey, she'd even mentioned that the former Enra hadn't liked her! Hold the phone...
With this newly-thought up knowledge, he crawled out of bed and wentover to Laura's room, knocking on the door. He needed to know. He wasn't mad at her or anything, but... Why was she so desperate to be...?
