[18 Alice Cullen 18]

Alice:
"No. We can't tell him." I told them seeing what would happen if they did tell him, a chill went down my spine. Jasper put his arm around me as I did and I saw Edward's jaw drop. "We can't."

Bella:
"See!" I looked at Edward now frightened because of the expression on his face. Not anger but pure torture.

Charlie
I sat anxiously at home. Bella said those words. Those hateful words.
It isn't your business anymore.
I sighed. No. It wasn't.
But she is. She is my business. And she said she'd be here today. She promised she'd keep in touch. A promise is a promise.

I sat down and watched a baseball game.

Bella:
"I will not ruin Charlie's life with the truth." I told Carlisle. "I am going over alone. What shall I tell Charlie about Jacob?" I asked still mad.

Charlie:
I called Bella on her cell phone this time. "Bella Swan, I want to know everything. I don't care what I said before! I just want to know why everyone is running away from me! I want to know. I'm worried about you bells."
Does anyone over there answer any calls? Then again I called.
"Bells. Come over now. I need to know the truth."
The truth wasn't going to hurt me. Was it?

Bella:
I called Charlie back waiting for him to answer.

Charlie:
I saw the phone ringing. "Hello?"

Bella:
"Hiya dad, it's me, Bella. I just wanted to let you know that im coming over and 'll b at your house in 5 min. with out a car. I'm going to explian some stuff to you." i told him.

Charlie:
Yes!!!I thought to myself excitedly.
"Ok Bella. See you in five minutes." I hung up.

Bella:
As I ran to Charlie's house i thought about what I was going to say. I have to tell him a lie. I got to Charlie's house and knocked *Knock knock* I took a deep breath and then held it in.

Charlie:
"Hiya Bella!" I hugged her, and then sat her down. "You got heavier." But the quickly paused. "Not that your fat or anything. You know what I mean." We walked into the house and I sat down. She didn't. "You wanted to tell me something?"

Bella:
"Look dad, you know I love you right. I don't want to hurt you or anything. but like I said over the phone"-grimace-" this is not your business anymore and I know you think that I am your business, but I am 19 now and I can take care of myself. I am sorry." I told him in a rush.

Charlie:
"Bella," I started, but then continued. "Get out now! If your not my business, and if you don't care anymore, then go!" Tears ran down my eyes and I got up. I took one breath, then I walked up stairs.
