[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

"Uh.. Kageko. We know her, but not how you may think. Erm, we've been travelling a while before arriving here.. Would you mind telling me the date? I seem to have lost track of the time." Kyon was lying, of course. She was only asking so she could perhaps pinpoint what was going on around them. A dimensional shift seemed entirely likely, but God knows what the truth was. Kyon forced a smile, loosening her grip on Yin slightly. "And where are we?"

"Well," Shiki loosened up and tapped her cheek wither her index finger, "I'm not really too sure about the date myself.... But what does that matter? No matter what the date the fact is your here!" she rested her chin on her hand, "so don't worry about it! As for where we are, can't you see? We're at my house!" she continued to smile brightly. She knew what their real question was, or at least the basic idea of it. However, she wasn't going to answer it until they asked.
Shiki's eyes shifted to the door. "Kagekoooo," she sang, "I know you're theeere." The door slid open and out came Kageko's face, looking slightly guilty. "I thought I made sure to hide everything, even my aura and mind," she said. "Don't worry," Shiki taunted, "It'll take you quite the number of years to hide from me," she rounded it off by sticking out her tongue. "Now, why don't you get some tea and bring Moriko here as well? Please?" Shiki asked politely. Kageko pouted but ran of nevertheless, closing the door behind her. "She's a good girl," Shiki commented.  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles continued to work out in her room. She recognized she was stalling, she just wasn't sure why. Was it because she wanted to let Zulma know she was leaving? Was it because she knew the name on the paper personally? She continued to do pull ups on the door frame to the bathroom, "thirty-six, thirty seven," she breathed out every time her chin passed the frame. It was very difficult to do as there was only enough room on the frame of the door for her fingertips to hold.

Kyon seemed a little disappointed at the half-baked response. She rubbed her head, now holding Yin in one hand. "Yes, she is.." The Soldier sighed, trying to find the correct words to say. "Look, the thing is... I don't believe we're where we should be. It's all wrong. Everything about this place is as it shouldn't be. Whilst we know Kageko, we don't know that little girl there. The one we know.." She hesitated on her words, wondering whether she would regret it later or not. Something had to be done in case it was becoming too late. "The one we know is many years older than the one that resides here in this place."

Moriko entered the room and asked excitedy, "What is it Shiki-sen...." She saw the unconcsious Yin and didn't finish her sentence. "Ohhh," she was genuinely worried, "poor girl. She must have overexerted herself." She immediately started tending to Yin and the dragon, Tatsu, helped. She focused on Yin's energy and synchronizing it with her's. After that was done, she focused on accelerating the recovery of the energy. In no time, Yin opened her eyes and jumped out. "Kageko! Kageko!," it thought frantically.
"Whoa!' Moriko shouted as Yin shot out of her hands, "It looks like your fine now! So what did you want from me Shiki-sensei?"
Shiki waved her off, "It's okay. You already did it, you can go and play now."
"Thank you," Moriko said as she rushed out the door and closed it with a "bang!".

((Ultima, it's only two pages. ;D But basically the whole group has been teleported to an estate of unknown dimension or timeframe. Upon entering they have been greeted by Shiki and have been escorted to a meeting room. And, that's kind of it so far. As far as I'm aware, Erik and Ultima went with them?))

"Wh-where am I?!" Yin looked around. The place seemed familiar, they were in Kageko's home, but it seemed different. "Wh-who are you?!" she was startled by the stranger in the room, Shiki.
Shiki smiled, Yin had said nothing, as usual, but she could still read her conscious. "You are in Kageko's home, as you might know it," she answered, "But at a different time than you're used to, I guess I could say. Here, Kageko is only 10 years old. I believe you were made by her. As for me, I am her mentor."
Yin just stared blankly, the explanation had paused her train of thoughts for a moment but it returned to where it had been before. She rudely got into Shiki's face, motioning, "Wait, if you're her mentor, then you might know how to get to her and save her, right?! Come on! You have to help us! She's in danger!"
Shiki gently slid Yin over, "First, why don't you tell me what the danger is and exactly how old Kageko is from your perspective?"

Zefi stays behind Kyon while listening... kind of to Yin and Miss. Shiki talk. She knew that Miss. Shiki knew they weren't from this time... It made Zefi choose to stay silent the fact that the lady wanted them to say it. Zefi would stay in denial as long as she wanted to...

"Yin is so worried.." Kyon explained, placing a hand on Zefi's shoulder in an attempt to put her at ease. "I can't understand her, I'm only human. Miss Shiki, I must ask that you assist us in whatever Yin is trying to tell you. I worry about Kageko very much, you must understand. If anything were to happen to her, I wouldn't forgive myself for not acting sooner." Kyon bit her lip, trying to keep her soft and vulnerable side from rearing it's face. "Listen, if there's anything you can do then please do it. I'd give anything to ensure the safety of my friends. Absolutely anything."

Ultima was only half listening. He wasn't paying attention to most of what was said. He nearly closed his eyes, but paid a little attention. He felt a cold presense draw nearer.

Erik placed his hand on his head. He was paying strict attention, he wasn't even here a second ago. He was near Ultima, but he'd have to wait for his chance. He put his hood baxk on that covered his face in darkness. He wouldn't want to be seen yet.

A bunch of thoughts blasted through Yin's mind as she tried to recount everything: the nightmare, the energy, the searching, the friends, the fifteen year old Kageko, the brand, everything. Shiki actually chuckled a little when she saw Yin nearly getting bit by the Monster Book of Monsters but Yin didn't notice, she was still trying to get everything out. Eventually, the mentor stopped her and calmed her down. Yin immediately calmed down as Shiki influenced her conscious.
Shiki turned to Kyon and smiled, "Don't worry, with friends such as you and this soul," she motioned to Yin ", I doubt Kageko will every be in too much danger. If you need an explanation as to what is happenning, it seems that she is having a nightmare from some brand," as she uttered the word "brand" she quickly glanced at Yin, "I can't be too sure without being there...." She suddenly brightened up, "But first let's talk about something else! So where did you people come from?"
