She beamed. "You like it? Grencia told me you were an excellent cook...I'm flattered!" Trying a bit for her self, she hummed, sprinkling a bit of something into the pot. "Nearly done."

Ladling out a bowl, she handed it to Howard with a smile. "Go grab a spoon, I'll meet you at the table." She started on one for herself. "Go on!"

Howard took the bowl and instinctively bowed his head.
"Thank you."
He grabbed a spoon out of a drawer and headed back into the lobby, sitting at a table and waiting for her to come in.

Matilda left with two bowls. "Come on, honey. Quit harassing the bat and come have a snack."
"Oh ho! With bells on!" he trotted after, looking chipper. "Heya Howard!"
The bowls and spoons were set, the meal thanked, and begun.
"I hope you like it!"

Azana laughed, walking up and hugging him as Sosol handled the gifts. "I wouldn't dream of it, Eli. Have a good time, alright?" After a quick hug and a farewell, the two of them vanished under the cloak.
"I'll take first shift," Sosol said, watching out in front of them as the landscape moved past them. "Why don't you get all that sorted out?"
"Sure," she nodded, sorting the gifts for them. "Sol...do you think Stella will be alright in there? You know, with Gren and Eli and Terry?"
"I think everyone underestimates her," Sosol answered, still staring outward. "Stella has strength outside her magic...and seeing that is probably Terry's best chance to win her heart."

Howard greeted Gregor as well, digging in as he slurped up the soup hungrily. It seemed as if he hadn't eaten in a while, although he'd eaten only last night.

Gren waved to the cloak's disappearance. "Merry Christmas!" Taking up his husband's hand, he led the pair to a fresh bowl of soup to share.
"Like it, huh?" chuckled Gregor. " 'Til, you've done it again."

Terry came downstairs, looking around at the group. "Well, you all seem cheerful," he greeted, jovial as ever.
Stella, meanwhile, had shut and locked her door, sitting in front of a screen flooded with text. She typed away, her determined gaze wavering in spots. A letter...one that hurt to write but had to be done. Maybe this vacation was necessary, after all.

Gren waved, beaming, subduing his husband with a stroke to the thigh.
