"Good..." He murmured, eyes narrowing as he stared at the individual, sepia eyes remaining as welcoming as the eyepatch beside it.
"Dad." Laura interjected, glancing between the two. "Why don't you go and see if you can find a room for the night... mine only has a single bed and you aren't sleeping in the chair again."
"... all right." He murmured, exiting with another, firmer handshake for Montana.
"I'm sorry, he's really protective..."
"Well, what was I expected to do?" MacPere mused with a laugh, wafting the smoke.

Enra blinked awake under Enta's covers, yawning. He'd missedthis, the slight ache in his body from the exertion, the lovely boy by his side... He'd forgotten to take the harness off of Enta's neck, though it suited him a little.
"Ahhh... It's good to be home."

Enta rolled closer, collar shifting around his neck as he moved, decorative tag jingling slightly.
Montana shrugged, giving Laura a soft smile. "That's okay. I can see why, you're his littke girl afterall." in place of his cowboy hat tonight, there was a point party hat. "Happy New Year, Miss Laura!"

"Happy New Year, Mr. Montana!" She cheered in reply, taking a party popper from the desk and pulling the cord. "What's your resolution?"
MacPere winced to himself. "Do you know how much I was wishing you wouldn't mention that? I remember... bits. An ache in my wrist, throwing up in the midst of sex... the usual."

Enta purred in his sleep, looking very happy as he nuzzled Enra's arm. "Happy... New... Yearrrrrr..."
"Resolution?" Montana paused to think, "Finally fix my Camero... And possibly find a girlfriend." He chuckled.

Immediately, Laura's eyes widened. An unerasable smile found her lips. She stepped closer to Montana. "You have a Camaro?!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms in the air. "Oh God, those cars are beautiful, purr like man cats. I couldn't... help you with that, could I?"
"Even if most of it was spent as a cat..." He leaned over and pressed a kiss to his husband's temple, affectionate. "Happy New Year, Adonis~"

"Yeah!" Montana chuckled, "Two actually, a new 2011 in nuclear green and a classic 1982 in yellow. It's the old one that needs fixed. I think something's wrong with the transmission, but..." he realized he was rambling. "S-sorry. But you're welcome to come help me anytime." He grinned a little sheepishly.
Enta arched his back slightly, but continued to sleep and purr.

He stared at the ceiling, moving a little closer for a snuggle. It was one of those times in his life when times were so good he couldn't think of what else hecould possibly do to make it better.

Enra slowly slipped out from Enta's instinctive sleep ambrace to head downstairs. All the time he'd spent with Enta, and he'd almost never been able to be able to just sit back and enjoy the fun he'd experienced just being there in the Inn. He wasn't complaining, of course; The times he'd had with Enta were priceless. But he enjoyed a brief moment to sit back and watch the fireworks of Inn life. Unfortunately, as before, he'd come downstairs a mite too early...
He shrugged, walking into the kitchen to prepare himself a warm cup of chocolate to battle the cold, hands circling the ceramic to warm his fingers.
