Yang looked up at Ultima and then figured it out, "Oh that. It's because I launched myself at him. Oops!" Kageko just shook her head and smiled a bit.
She briskly walked out of the room and torwards the gate, taking her key out along the way. She wasn't totally sure in her abilities to get them to the right place, but they had gotten a lot better than before. She approached the gate and opened a portal before the others could catch up and see how she was doing it. She quickly tucked her key back into her shirt. "Well," she said, "You guys go on. I'll stay here."

Ultima waved. "See ya Kage!" He yelled before leaving. He'd probably never be able to say her real name without doubt. He landed maybe a minute or two of a walk from the inn. "Ah well, at least it's close." He said. He began to walk towards the inn. He knew Erik would be there so he did a slow walk.

Zefi had fallen asleep and found herself in Ultima's arms. She squirmed and fell onto the ground. It hurt but Zefi didn't say anything. "I have to go... back" She nodded at Ultima and blushed. She ran to the Inn and went upstairs ignoring Rrik Von-Something or another and grabbed all her stuff and ran back out passing Shade and heading into the forest. "bye!" She shouted as she passed him. She was going to go home like she promised.

((bye bye))

(OOC: Ultima, just pretend you were carrying both Zefi and Kyon.)

Ultima sighed and set Kyon down on the couch. Carrying two people was not easy, espescially when your so young. Ultima heard a zipping sound nearby. He knew that all too well. He turned around and caught the knife. Erik was staring at him with his hood down. "What do you want?" Ultima asked in an irate tone.

Erik had threw the knife, it was a way of saying hello. "You don't remember me?" Ultima shook his head. "I'm your brother, your name is not Shade, or any other name you recently took up." Ultima shook his head again. Erik knew he'd need some proof.

Kageko watched as the others walked off and immediately closed the portal. "You know," Yang thought, "Zefi was angry that you kept the scrolls from her?" Kageko nodded, "Yeah, I found out when you did. It's not really a surprise. As soon as Zefi found the shelf of scrolls, she would have certainly picked out her own scroll... Is there any was for you to control you power? It's rude to know what everyone's in the conscious." Yang nodded, "Okay! I'll keep it in check from now on!" Kageko smiled at him then asked, "So how'd you get here?" all business now. Yang smiled up innocently, "From you of course!" Kageko searched him through their soul bond and, sure enough, that was all Yang could remember. Kageko pondered, "Could it have been my mentor? His powers are similar to her's albeit much more weaker, but," she searched Yin but could find nothing, not even her experience about the trip to her past or even about Kageko's nightmare, it was as if someone went into Yin's conscious and blocked it off entirely, "It doesn't seem Yin knows anything either. Oh well, one thing's for sure, Yang is bonded to us, so now we're a team."
Yin was slightly put off by Kageko's analysis, "She didn't see anything in me? Not even...," then she knew, it must have been something that the mentor had put it, "Oh, she doesn't want Kaeko to know." She figured that Shiki had somehow made it so Kageko wouldn't be able to see anything about the event that just happened in either Yin or Yang.
Yang gave Yin a meaningful look to show that he understood. After reaching a silent partnership the two followed Kageko into the house.
All Kageko could do was wonder, "Wow, Yin's actually getting along with somebody?" Well, that and why both Ultima and Zefi insisted that they had seen her past.

Gren sat in a comfortable leather chair, eating a slice of very rich chocolate cake with strawberries.

Ultima dropped the kinfe. "How will i know if your my brother, he died long ago." Erik showed him a locket around his neck. "It's the same picture, of our family." Ultima closed his eyes. "I don't belive you." He couldn't fight in the inn so he decided to talk his way out. He noted Gren nearby. "He might be useful." Ultima thought.

Gren noticed that he was being watched. He swallowed his mouthful of cake and looked at Ultima, questioning this new amount of attention.

"Gren," said Angeles as she came down the stairs. Night had fallen, there was no sign of Zulma, Angeles would wait to leave. Her powers were now fully restored and there was something she needed to know first. She walked over to where Gren sat, and sat in the chair across from him, smiling.

"Gren, I would like to know why you seemed uneasy around me earlier today."

She side glanced at the young boy whome she knew as the drunk and the man from earlier. She bore her fangs slightly but otherwise ignored them.

"Oh, Angeles..." Gren stood up to greet her. "That-? Well, you were acting rather tense about a new bounty, and I was concerned about who it might be." An honest answer: circumventing the point, but honest.

Angeles smiled again, "concerned why?" she asked in a purring voice, "is this why you played Beethoven that one night so that i would not hear? Your a man full of secrets Gren, and I think you fear them more than you should. Tell me your concern, and I will tell you if they are needed."

"...Fear them? No, I don't. I guard my secrets, as they're usually key to my survival here and again."

Gren's face became slightly more stony. Always asking for information, getting right to the root. Admirable qualities, but he did sometimes wish she'd find someone else to probe. And his real concern...telling a hunter that there's a large price on your head usually would lead to being hauled back to prison, in his case. But if she's as good as she is, then she already knows anyway and you can try pleading before slitting your throat.

Leaning in close, he whispered into her ear, so that only she would hear: "I'm sure you already know, but there's a price on my head for escaping prison."

"No," Angeles said, lacing her fingers together and resting her chin on her hands, "I did not," she smiled, revealing her fangs, "I'm bounty hunter, yes, but my friend, I'm a vampire hunter, specializing in the death of my own kind. the escaping prison bit is a little concerning, but you are peaceful, these many days I've been here, never have i seen you lift a finger against anyone else. Whether you were imprisoned by false accusation, or you are a changed man. In any case, I am not concerned. And in fact, I will defend your freedom."

Angeles closed her eyes and leaned back in her chair, never ceasing to smile, "there are very few people who can do what you do. And I will not let such talent rot in a cell."

Erik grabbed Ultima's arm tightly. "Listen to me!" He yelled in his face. Ultima tried to pry himself free, but had a problem. "The lockets match, you see?" He put the two together. "No!" Ultima tried to push away, trying not to break the no violence rule. "I don't want to hear it!" Ultima yelled back. He wouldn't drag those two into this and quieted a little.
