Azana snickered at Gren and Eli's explanations of their actions, shaking her head in amusement. "King me."
"Hope springs eternal," she echoed, wondering if she had said all that aloud, or if she was simply more transparent than she thought. Still, it was pretty endearing, considering her recent gloomy outlook. Maybe it was worth giving it a shot...maybe.

"Wha--how did--" She let out an exasperated sigh, requesting a refill. "Honestly...stopping that demon was one of the best things that happened to me in the past year or so..."

"I said 'almost'...besides, it made a lot of the other good things possible!"
Stella lost herself in thought a bit, thinking of logistics, as well as the undying optimism of that hopeless romantic. No wonder he sticks around HQ so much. Guy like that can be dangerous in the field.
