Bella:
"I'm sorry dad." i cried. "But this is the only way, the only way to keep you safe." I didn't feel good. Thank goodness Edward was waiting outside for me. I looked up at my old room and saw Charlie looking down at us. "Lets go" I told him and we ran back to the Cullen house. I could imagine his face as he saw us disappear faster than anyone could think.

Charlie:
My lips went white as I saw how fast they ran.
"Some promise!" I yelled out the window and I knew she heard me because I heard the leaves stop rustling,only for a second then started going toward the Cullen house.
I still missed Nessie.

Bella:
I wanted to cry so bad but I couldn't. Edward and I decided to take Nessie back to our cottage and let her take her nap in peace. I called Charlie. While I was waiting to see if Charlie would answer I played with a button on Edward's shirt.

Charlie:
*Days Passed*
Days passed and I didn't do anything. I called in sick at the police office for a week. Aparently Bella doesn't remember anything I did for her, anything I let her do, anything I kept her through. She just threw it all away. So I just sit here. I don't eat, I don't drink. I don't do anything. Bella was everything I had. She just threw me away.
I sighed.
"I promise to keep in touch, always. Whatever happens." I quoted Bella in a silence. The quote was from her wedding day. I broke into a cry and heard some rustling in the leaves outside. I walked outside and looked around. Nothing there. I walked back inside and called Billy.
Me:Hey Billy.
Billy:Hey Charlie! What's going on?
Me:Bella pretty much told me to stay out of her life tody. She didn't even care.
Billy:Aww. Charlie I'm sorry.
Me: No, Billy. it isn't her fault.
Billy:Yes it is.
Me: I bet it's something with the Edward kid.
Billy:No
Me:Yeah it is. Since he's been here, she hasn't even talked to Jacob much.
Billy:Yeah she has. He's over there everyday.
Me:I bet if Edward hadn't come back, then Jacob and Bella would still be in love.
Billy:Maybe. But they can't ever go back now.
Me: I know. Well thanks for hearing me ramble.
Billy sad laughs) Well, you can always come over here. You're always welcome.
Me:Thanks. I might as well come over now. See you in about an hour.

Bella:
I after calling Charlie and no answer I left him a voice mail :
"Hey dad it's me I just wanted to say I'm sorry and that I love you. And that whatever I do, it's for your own good and for your safety. Sorry again. call me back.
-Bella"

After that I called Billy;

Me:"Hey Billy it's Bella"
Billy"Hi Bella."
Me:"I just wanted to tell you that Jake isn't doing an errand for Carlisle. So he won't be home for a while"
Billy: "Ok. Thanks Bella"
Me: "If you see Charlie, please tell him I said "Sorry". "
Billy:"Will do"
Me:"Kay, thanks Billy"
Billy: "Sure,sure. See you later Bella"
Me:"Bye"

The line went dead. I curled up to Edward as told him everything.

Charlie:
I heard Bella's Voicemail and didn't call back. She didn't need to have me in her life. For heaven's sake, I was 52 years old. She didn't need me.
I got to Billy's house and walked inside.
Billy:Hey Charlie!
Me:Billy! Thanks for having me over!
Billy: No problem!
Me: ( I smiled) well, it's nice to see your face again. Where's Jacob?
Billy: Out at the Cullens.
Me: Right.
Billy: Charlie, you're depressed. Bella says Sorry. She misses you too.
Me: I don't care.
Billy: Charlie, you miss her too.
Me: I know I do and thats why I asked her over. But all she did was resist me.
Billy:Fine. No more discussion. You came to watch the game.
Me: Yess!
Billy: Sue made some chicken stir fry. it's in the kitchen
Me: Will eat.

That night I ate dinner at Billy's house and went home after the game was over. I had a nightmare.

Darkness closed in around me and I couldn't breath. Bella smiled as she walked toward me and then stopped. Edward then came in. He jumped at me with a knife and stabbed me.
The dream was over.

Bella:
Last night Edward and I left Nessie with Rosalie and then went hunting. "I don't know why Charlie is making such a big deal about this." i told him, he didn't answer. "I'm going to go and check on him today." All I got was an "OK." I went over to Charlie's house at 9:00 a.m. and knocked on the door. If he didn't answer I was going to go in anyway. I heard a crack of the leaves behind me and turned instantly and gasped....

Charlie:
The door was knocked on and i opened it. Bella.
"Thought you didn't care."
She turned back around and smiled.

Bella:
The hooded figure had gone as quickly as it came, it was Aro. The Voultri were already here...
"Hey dad lets go inside." I told him quickly. "I have decided to tell you almost everything. Why we have been acting so strangely. But before I do I need to call someone first." I pulled out my cellphone and called Edward. All I said was; "They are here. Come to Charlie's house... Quick!" to low for Charlie to hear.

Charlie:
"Bella, whats wrong?" I screamed as Bella quickly pushed me in my room.

Caius:
"Well Aro. It seems that little Bella is hiding someone from us. Shall we investigate?"
Edward quickly runs up and runs into the house.
"Edward too. Hmmm. tsk tsk. "

Bella:
"Edward. They are here did you tell Carlisle?" I ignored Charlie's question and focused on what was happening, waiting for Edward's answer. "We can't hid him in here, this house would never stand a chance against them." I told Edward.

Aro:
"Do not get the wrong idea my brother."

Charlie:
"Bella! What's wrong?"

Caius:
"Aro, i have the need. They are hiding something from us."
He held his hand out and I touched it.

Bella:
"Charlie, we can't tell you. We don't want you to DIE" I hissed at him. His face became white, then purple.
Aro:
"Go talk to the other Cullens before we react to anything." I told him. "We do not want to start an uprising."

Charlie:
"If you didn't want to tell me anything, then why did you come over?" A knock on the door startled me. "Let me get that." I walked downstairs and almost got to the door before Bella got in the way.


Caius:
"Fine brother." I walk to the door of the falling apart,so it seems, house and knock on the door twice.

Bella:
hearing Charlie's words hurt but i had to protect my father, he ran to the door but I got to it before he did and I pushed him back lightly. He fell into Edward's arms, Edward pushed Charlie behind him protectively. I opened the door "Hello, Aro." i said in a cautious voice.

Aro:
I knock on the door and waited for it to open. I heard all of the weird sounds inside the house but still waited. the door finally opened and Bella's face appeared from behind it. "Hello, Aro." she said.
"Why, hello Bella! Edward! How lovely to see you! And Charlie, Bella's father,hello." I greeted them each separately. "We have been watching this human to make sure that you haven't broken the rules." I told them happy to see the puzzled look on Charlie's face.
