Noting Angeles' pause, Gren wondered who'd walked in, but the piece was coming to an end and he needed to do it justice. Fingers sailing, they pounded out the final notes. He leaned back and sighed. He could be hard on piano keys...

Angeles sighed and smiled, pulling her hands away from the keys and standing up from the bench, "what fun," she murmured and walked over to the kitchen, "how are you today MacPere? And how was the rest of your birthday?"

Giving a rather awkward applause, clapping his hand against a long vase, MacPere re-entered the bar, filling a third of the urn with water.
"That was beautiful~" He credited, placing the flowers into the vase and arranging them evenly. "And my birthday was as it always is, my dear Angeles, full of work. I can't say I hate it and yet, I can't say I enjoy it... It's my birthday."

Angeles smiled but felt guilty that she could not help make MacPere's birthday better than what he described. She pondered briefly about what he did for a living before heading back to her table in the shadowed corner and sitting down in the chair.

Kageko and Yin came out of the cocoon of shadows into the forest near the inn, Yang had decided to stay home and explore the place a bit more. They weren't far from the lake and they could see the glimmer coming off of it. Farther in the distance, the lights of the inn could barely be seen.
Kageko stretched and thought, "Hmmm, what to do now? I can feel the aura's of some people in the inn, but none that I recognize."
Yin suggested, "You came here to go to the inn, didn't you? Well let's go there already."
"You seem a bit more fond to be at the inn. Is it because Ultima's isn't there?"
"Duh."
They headed towards the inn.

The two of them walked in through the door. A quick glance around the room was enough for Kageko to discover that it seemed only the vampire was open for conversation. She headed towards her thinking, "I wonder if she'll be okay with talking to me?" Kageko hadn't forgotten the last two times she had tried to make small talk with the vampire. Approaching her she started, "Ummmm.... Hi again?"

MacPere smirked at the thought, laughing heartily for a moment at the contents and the surprise that came alongside it. "'Unwrapped' indeed... Though I am unsure that it fit the 'something we can show friends' description~"

"I'm sorry if you didn't want to..." MacPere lifted a hand to pet Gren's cheek, smiling sheepishly. Usually, he would be impatient about such things, attempting to get the person into bed as soon as possible. However, if there were ever anyone he could restrain himself for it would have been Grencia... A bit too late for that notion, though. "The outfit and the atmosphere... I couldn't restrain myself~"
