Chris' dirty look got dirtier as he jabbed a thumb in the feathered fowl's direction. "Ask him," he growled through clenched teeth as he stalked up to his room to find some dry clothes.
Nate simply looked around the room in red and blue amazement as he kept munching.

((Always good to prepare for anything with her, though...I can imagine biting into a peach and tasting kiwi or something.))
With a small sigh of relief, Tyler enjoyed the peach, taking a short break while his request was being processed back at the Labs. If this worked, it could put an end to those security flaws at HQ...not to mention his own space.
"Oh, I simply meant to have a moment to welcome him back and talk about the trip. You two tend to monopolize one another for a considerable amount of time after either gets back from being away." He chuckled, though he was little better when it came to Azana's return from missions...the only difference was there was usually some grand story to tell.
"Nate...why is Chris completely soaked? Did you leave him upstairs again?" Azana asked, a hand on her hip. "Also, those don't really work in reality..."

Enta fidgeted a little before speaking. "Well... S-since Enra came back, he's been out of a job... I-I was wondering if maybe you could find a place for him at your company? I-I know it's probably a lot to ask, e-especially considering I don't know you that well..."

(Fair point. Though, she doesn't fool around with food much. Candy is a whole different story.)

Nate started chittering away a response. As usual, it was very fast and hard to comprehend, although the words 'bikers', 'fountain' and 'hilarious' could be made out.
"You liar!" exclaimed the freshly dressed Chris. "I did not fall in the fountain. Those bikers pushed me in. And just where was my 'backup' during all this? He was waiting in line to see a 3D movie, that's where! And don't think I didn't know that you stole my wallet to get ticket money. That's why we had to WALK back her instead of taking a cab!"

Giving it a hum of thought, the smile never left MacPere's face. His eyes flicked back to Enta with a nod. "10am tomorrow. I'd like to see him in my office... give an informal interview to see whereabouts his skills could orient. Is that alright?"

hello? I'm sorry I've not been in. Locked my self out of a teleport, I guess... I changed a symbol by accident... Took forever to correct it... I gotta be more careful with that.
How is everyone doing this fine day?
Myras yawned, eager to get back to his notebook, which he used for the other half of the teleport. But he still had the problem of getting his quill back...

Nate started describing the movie in detail, pausing only to take a handful of popcorn and toss it into the air. Before it could reach his mouth, however, Chris reached up and swatted it aside. Nate screeched indignantly at Chris and the two shot daggers at each other with their gaze.
In a flash, the two were wrestling on the floor. Nate pecked and Chris punched and the pair had yet another barroom brawl in the works.

"Actually, it's adorable," Terry added, walking in the door to the bustling Inn. "Well, this is a nice change of pace...and look who's back! How have you been, MacPere?"
Azana chuckled at the two, though it faded as they were wrestling on the floor. She'd give them a moment or two to realize what they were doing before laying the zap on them.
