"Down, Bessie, she probably meant someone else's ship hat. Anyway, you up for some distillation with the ol' Rube? Make sure not to feed anything to the chibis though, I think I almost killed one..."

She nodded. "Sure! And, heck, it'll take more than that to down a chibi. He probably was just blown off his feet by flavor." Giggling, she held up a chibi. "You little guys wanna taste stuff?"

Albee took up the chibi and let him ride in his ship hat as he took Charlotte's hand, leading her up to his room where the chibis had been playing croquet with a cotton swab and a red ball.

One chibi swung his 'hammer' (a pickle fork) into the ball, which bounced mightily before bopping a 'wicket' (made of Legos). The ball squeaked, an arm protruding, revealing itself to be another chibi, rubbing his head.

She took a piece, which transformed into a poppy petal in her touch, and ate it. "Buttery!"
The ball sighed, curling up, the pickle fork-wielding chibi squeaking victory as he took another swat. His opponent with a mustard knife sighed, annoyed.

It was mid-afternoon when Chris entered the Inn, fresh off a mission. The room, strangely enough, was empty and quiet. That's odd. Usually, this place is one step shy of chaos at this time of day. I wonder where everybody is.
He went behind the bar and grabbed a bottle of his favorite. He poured himself a drink and took a seat at his usual table. He sat in silence as he sipped his drink, just waiting for something, anything, to happen. It was quiet. Too quiet.
