"Fello?" Derek blinked. He had never heard of it. Was it like water, he wondered? Or more like oil. While he thought about it, he absent mindedly starting drawing schematics in the dust he left on the table.

Glancing down at the work, he smiled. "A toy it seems. After I've made it, there's a button here," he points at a part of the picture, "that when pressed will make this spring," another point, "raise this figure here," point, "which will dance a little jig before returning to it's spot."

Derek shrugged. "I've got a lot of free time. Most of it I day dream, but occasionally I want to make things. Nobody has to come to me asking me to fix or make something particular, so I make little things. Would you like it?" he asked.

"Then I shall make it right now!" Standing, Derek grinned at the boy. "I have everything I need, just have to have time to make it." He made his way outside, oblivious to any weather there may be. He fired up the furnace and starting heating metal.
