There was a silence then Howard stood to his feet, a little wobbly even as he opened his arms.
"C'mere you."
The child stared then started into a sprint to his father. The moment was an almost endearing time of slow-motion... up until Albee spun through the air and sent a foot toward's the chef's face, but ending up slamming into Howard's palm.
"That's a good kick, Al-- oh."
Albee had hung about in the air as he was grabbed, but now hugged him upside down, crying.
"You're an idiot! AN IDIOT!!"

Albee was finally dropped back onto his feet, wiping the remainder of his tears away.
"I want fried chicken!"
"Yeah, yeah, I'll make some for all of us..."
As Howard went into the kitchen, Albee sat and huffed.
"Why's he so messed up anyway...?"

Xei sits up quickly, snapping her fingers, causing Bo to fly forward. "I think I remember it!" She pulls out a tiny note pad, scribbling away on it neatly, then pocketing it once more. She peers over the couch some. "Can I sing as long as I keep my magic down?"

Albee smiled as he was pounced on, catching her.
"Yeah, I guess..."
"Actually... I've been on this trip because someone gave me
information that that might not be entirely true."
Howard set a steaming set of fried chicken and chili fries down, eating some fries for himself.

Xei chuckles some, standing an slinking her way over to the stage hair gleaming with each motion, the siren rather content with herself, she didn't quite know if they'd approve of her kind of music, but she needed to get it out. Grabbing the mic the dim the light some, her voice coming out silky an sweet, but she kept her magic away, though she still sung wonderfully. "I hear you calling me, just like the voices in a dream.
