Konaga Clan

Name of Kekkei Genkai/Clan : Konaga [Eternal Spirit]

History : Little is known about the origins of the Konaga Clan even to it's own people. It is a clan of wanderers, varied and diverse, with no village to call their home and no record of their history or techniques to act as a guide. Konaga clan members make up an interesting group of people, as they are all intrinsically aware of who they are and can instantly feel when another member is nearby, going as far as to be able to single them out of a crowd as if they were the only other person around. Knowledge of the clan is passed by word of mouth, parents to children, and random encounters with other members which when drawn together often share life experiences and what they have learned of their people. Mystery surrounds them, but something in their blood always draws them together with other members, allowing them to pass on the knowledge through generations.

Abilities : Konaga Clan members have a nearly limitless reserve of chakra which flow through their bodies. At birth and for their entire lives, a Konaga clan member's cells are almost completely saturated with chakra from head to toe. This power does not come without a price however. Pain wracks their bodies every minute of everyday and control of their abilities is often lost, causing them to lash out and become a danger to those around them. Konaga Clan members are masters of chakra; It is their great power, and their great curse. Only about 25% of all children born of the Konaga clan survive their first week of life, and after that, only 1/3 of them make it through their childhood years.

All clan members, though the pains of growing up, learn to master and control their chakra flow and develop techniques that allow them to channel their energy, allowing them to augment their physical bodies in an enumerable number of ways. As a history does not exist, every clan member develops their own unique uses of this ability, but common uses involve augmenting muscles for power or speed. use of these techniques however normally come with an extreme price. "The Burn" as it is referred to many members is a side affect of every use of augmented chakra on the body, which will eventually cause a painful chakra burn to the affected area which creates a searing pain. Most members do not even realize the burns, but if utilized too often, the body will simply shut down for a period of time before it is able to heal.


Rules For Kekkei Genkai/Clan :

1. Chakra Limitations : A Konaga clan member's chakra is infinite, but his ability to use it without losing control is not. though they have limitless chakra, they can only utilize a certain amount of it without the risk of going into a fit. The limitations are as follow :

- Genin : Capable of using a Jounin's level of chakra before in danger.
- Chuunin : Capable of an ANBU/Kage's level of chakra before in danger.
- Jounin : Capable of using levels of chakra beyond a Kage's ability before in danger.


2. Chakra Augmentation Limitations : A Konaga Clan member experiences 'The Burn' whenever augmenting their physical attributes with their immense levels of chakra and precise chakra control. This augmentation takes it's toll on the body quickly and has it's limits. Chakra burn accumulates over the course of a battle and will eventually render limbs/other augmented areas unusable. Here are the limitations of Augments :

- Genin/Chuunin: 3 Augmentations of a body part render it immobile.
- Jounin/Anbu: 4 Augmentations of a body part render it immobile.
- Sannin/Kage: 5 Augmentations of a body part render it immobile.


3. Raging Spirit : When under extreme stress/duress, or when pushing their bodies past the chakra limitations listed above, Konaga Clan members are at risk of losing control of themselves and lashing out against their surroundings. This process is incredibly painful and leaves the clan member in an incredibly weakened state as they are unable to hold back the immense wells of chakra in their bodies, which bursts forth from them during these fits. This can also simply happen randomly, though the clan member also has a 15-20 second warning that a fit is about to come.


4. Konaga clan members cannot sleep : The pain of their bodies does not allow for true REM sleep in the conventional way. A clan member must move themselves into a deep state of meditation, which often requires a couple of hours to achieve. This meditation suppresses the pain and allows the clan member to rest.


5. Healing from Chakra Burns : Requires a full cycle (6 hours) of meditation. After this meditation, all damage done by 'The Burn' is removed, unless the user has pushed themselves far beyond the brink, and have experienced the 'Raging Spirit' causing them to move into a fit. After this, a clan member could need several days to fully recover.


6. Dulled Senses : A Konaga clan member has learned to deal with pain their entire life. Their bodies have been beaten, and their thresholds of pain have been heightened due to this. As a side affect however, Konaga clan members experience a phenomenon called 'The Numbing' which disconnects them from the world by partially deadening their sense of touch.


Weaknesses :

Extreme Pain - A member of the Konaga Clan is in pain 24/7. the shear amount of energy that is stored in their body creates a constant pulse of pain in their system. their bodies have learned to cope with the pain and suppress some of it, but the pain is always there like a constant ache. the only way to truly suppress it is a deep meditation which takes several hours to reach.

Raging Spirit - Under very stressful conditions, or sometimes randomly, Konaga clan members can go into a fit as their wells of chakra overflow, causing them to lose control of their body and their abilities. The pain during these times is unbearable and the Clan member lashes out at their surroundings in an attempt to discharge the energy. This often comes in the form of explosions of chakra off of their body, often mixed with their element of control, which can devastate the area around them, though leaving the clan member relatively unharmed. After the fit subsides, the clan member is left incredibly weakened as they struggle to cope with the pain they feel throughout their bodies.

Chakra Burn - Every use of augmented chakra on the body will eventually cause a painful chakra burn to the affected area which creates a searing pain. Msot members do not even realize the burns, but if utilized too often, the body will simply shut down for a period of time before it is able to heal. As such, even with limitless power, a great price can be paid for abusing it. Chakra molded through seals is much more easily and effectively controlled and can be released at higher levels without much pain...it is direct chakra to body augmentation that is truly harmful.

No Genjutsu - Konaga clan members are incapable of molding or utilizing Genjutsu techniques. Their shear energy levels do not allow for the precise balances of energy required to cast the illusion.


Strengths :

Nearly Limitless Chakra - Those of the bloodline which survive eventually find themselves to have a nearly limitless supply of chakra. This ability gives them amazing endurance in battle and allows them to use many more high level techniques in a given day then even most sannins or kages could.

Chakra Control - In the process of life for a Konaga clan member, to even simply stay alive, a complete mastery of chakra formation, augmentation, and control is necessary. As such, Konaga members are masters of these things and are able to use chakra beyond the normal capabilities of others, bending chakra almost effortlessly around their body to augment both their attacks and defense.

Body Endurance - From birth, the body of a Konaga clan member is forced beyond it's normal limits and must adapt or be forced to shut down. As a member of the clan progresses in age, the body grows stronger and stronger, learning how to cope and hold the enormous wells of energy at bay. This gives all Konaga clan members incredibly conditioned muscles for endurance and metabolism and specifically gives very fast healing to burns on the skin. This conditioning also creates an enormous threshold for pain, allowing a member of the Konaga clan to push himself far beyond a normal person's limits.

Genjutsu Immunity : Just as Konaga clan members are incapable of molding or utilizing Genjutsu techniques, so also are they immune to it's effects. The same forces which prevent them from balancing and controlling a genjutsu's delicate form also overpowers any attempt for it to be used on them. A Konaga clan member is immune to any Genjutsu that is his rank or below. Anything above his rank, he is susceptible to, but in a diminished respect, and for half the length of time.

(When a Genjutsu user attempts to use a Genjutsu on a Konaga clan member, they second they try to access the user's chakra system to weave the illusions, they feel the pain of the Konaga clan for a split second and are dazed out of the technique, in many cases with the visual effect of a chakra-shaped dragon's head attacking them... which is a visual manifestation of the Konaga clan's chakra.)

Every Konaga Clan member is different and has developed individual methods of use regarding body augmentation. Certain techniques are basic, such as using chakra in your limbs to increase the power behind an attack by 3-5 fold, or pushing chakra into your legs to double your speed, or jumping distance, but others are more complex. Using the format below, a clan member can post their ability in their profile, ONLY after having received permission from Cory, or another mod of equal ability to approve new jutsu. History:
The Sindoue clan was born in the lands of Otogakure. Each member was considered a virtuoso, being talented in many musical arts. Most members were performers, generally making them peaceful people. It wasn't until they discovered the true extent of their powers that they were destroyed. The family had well developed ears, so they could hear from whispers and would not be affected by loud noises such as a passing train or roaring lion. Their true ability lied within the power to create sound vibrations at a whim. Otogakure thought rebellion, and quickly wiped out the clan before insurgency rose.

Rules:
• The user must always be listening to some type of beat, or making one. The beat they create directly affects the heart beat.
• Each Clan jutsu has a beat, the user will not head hand signs if the correct beat is made and continued to power the jutsu
• A clan member must be taught the jutsu, unless they are clan head or are given scrolls from someone who knows them.

Fast, simple beat
The user simply as to clap two objects together once, which will release a soprano pitched note. This will cause anyone within the area to hear nothing for 2 posts.

The user can use the vibrations from their mouth and enter it into an object, let us say a kunai. The user will then release the kunai, and can activate it when they wish, and the kunai will release the vibrations. This would be as a walkie talkie, though it works in reverse as well.

Shield of Sound:
Fast complex beat
The user can use vibrations to stop projectiles thrown at them, or redirect them. They can also vibrate the air close to them, which can cause a weapon to bounce off if done correctly. They can even vibrate hard enough to cause a weapon to be dropped out of someones hands.

Block-out:
Fast, simple beat
The user can use vibrations to stop loud sounds from harming their allies or themselves. It is used to stop other sounds, completely muting them.

Disruption:
Very fast, intricate beat
The user will shake the air rapidly, and will be able to actually stop jutsu's that have been shot at them, such as a water dragon. They will vibrate the air so much, that the dragon will lose shape, and cause no harm to them.

The user will actually roar, so powerfully it can cause a minor earthquake. The ground will not split open, but it is enough to knock down enemies even if they attempt to use chakra.

Vibrating Heart - Stage Two

History:
The members of the Sindoue Clan have pushed themselves to the limit, discovering new ways to unleash their powers. Some have chosen the darker side of life, using their powers to harm others. Some have chosen the light side of life, only using their powers to aid others, and continue their lives as entertainers. These new powers do not come without cost though, are you willing to accept them?

Rules:
• The users eyesight will be lost forever, even if they transplant another eye.
• The user's ears are insanely strong, equal to that of a bat.
• To earn stage two, the member will have to defeat 4 ninja of equal or higher rank after mastering the previous stages jutsu
• The agility, evasiveness, and speed of the user will increase by double

Echo-Location:
Repetitive beat, fast or slow
The user will use vibrations to locate objects and people. This is usually how a Sindoue member will 'see' without simply having to rely on the remaining 4 senses

Slow, complex
The user will sing/play a song that is indeed soothing, it calms someone. This is usually used for stopping pain, though it can be used to lull an enemy into a false sense of security.

Fast, simple
The user will vibrate their hands, and then place them upon a solid object. They will then transfer the intense vibrations, and cause the structure to crumble and collapse.

Speed of Sound:
Very fast, intricate
The user will use vibrations to speed up their body, cutting through the air like a knife through butter. They can move like this for about 10 posts before they begin to wear down. This can obviously have a large toll upon the body, such as broken bones and exhaustion. They will move at an intense speed, though still dodgeable and what not. If they choose to try to maneuver alot, they have a high chance of tripping.

Shattering Falsetto:
Slow, intricate
The user will unleash a horrifying scream or roar, depending on the person themself. The chakra is laced within the vibrations, which can push people away, as well as knock them over. If an enemy's or an ally's ears are exposed, they will shatter their eardrum, and cause them to bleed from the ears. If done at a close range, {point blank} the victim can fall from aneurysms and more due to the massive vibrations.

History
The Banpaia clan, like its opposing clan Hitokui, has been around since the dawn of life. It all began with a war for other lands, when a lone soldier was on the battlefields and was a dying breed. He became vengeful and made a deal with his very soul. On the bloody battlefield, on the verge of death, he drank the blood of his own brethern and brother in arms, transforming him into a inhuman creature. The existance of this being became known, and were feared but used at the same time, much opposite of the Hitokui clan. The members of the clan strive for the blood of their victims, which by doing so it gives them the victim's memories, and power. The blood they drain gives them their youth, strength and healthy. The Banpaia clan and the Hitokui Clan are similar, yet are rivals. Yet occasionally love is found between many clan members for they are alike in many ways. A war waged between the two once, but ended when it was found the royal families' son and the other's daughter had fallen in love. It was later rumored that the clan came to be out of the existant of one of the Hitokui clan members, but became this being.

Rules
• You cannot drink the blood of some random npc, it must be another rpc.
• Any abilities in each stage are kept and sometimes powered up as the user progresses through the stages
• The clan members are naturally very beautiful or handsome, has an alluring sense about them that can attract the opposite gender with ease
• If one is of the Hotokui clan 1st stage, they can become of the banpaia clan by draining the blood completely out of an rpc.
• Able to remain young and never ages ((meaning cannot die by age))

Weakness
• Beginners find it difficult to keep their bloodlust in check
• Stage one (beginners) first taste of blood run the biggest risk of going into a frienzy


Stage One: The Newborn


Description
The first stepstone of Banpaia. The user tastes his or her's first drop of blood. They have fangs and their eyes are the color of red. Their physical strength is stronger then the average human, but its difficult to stop feeding once started. Often, the results is a frenzy.

Rules
• Sense of smell, sight, hearing, taste and touch are increased slightly.
• Strength and speed is higher then normal slightly
• To obtain, one must taste blood. Being new to it they are getting use to their own being. Sometimes one will be in denail
• Can survive normally fatal blows, though only one time (unless head decapatation)
• No special technique is avalible

Stage Two: Midevil


Description
In this stage the user has accepted who and what they are, used to the taste of blood flowing down their throats. They usually carry blood packets with them in case if they get hungry, but they are now better able to control their blood thirst, and can go a bit longer without blood then the previous stage. They now can learn things from drinking the blood of thier victims, such as memories or even jutsu.

Rules
• Must have tasted the blood of five different rpcs to achieve this stage
• Strength and Speed increases by a rank
• Can jump higher then the average shinobi
• Five sense increases more
• If gone a long time without blood, user will break into a frenzy of blood thirst, endangering allies and enemies alike
• Can now regenerate quicker then the average shinobi
• Can now drain chakra from opponents similar to how they drain blood
• Drinking the blood of one will allow the user to learn one of their techniques that is the same element as themselves. (can be done only once per day)

Stage Three: Dark Awakening


Description
The final stage, when one has tasted so much blood that they have literally become a monster in their own way. Their eyes become an amber color which has a faint glow when against the dark. They are able to shape shift and move an alarming speed. These are where people have created the name, Vampire. The ones who are attacked by these people and drained of blood will allow the clan members to gain their memories and information.

Rules
• Strength and Speed increases dramatically (another rank)
• Must have tasted the blood of 10 individuals
• Can regenerate faster and survive fatal blows easier
• Can go longer then normal without blood, but becomes more aggressive then normal. If gone too long without it, can result in a massacre
• Are capable of shape shifting and hold the form but only up to 15 posts. The form is recognizable if in a animal like form, for the body is black spectral like and has red glowing eyes
• Are able to make a complete regeneration of the body if lost, but only once per fight
•Has the ability to walk through walls

Description
The user has to make eye contact in order for this to work. The user's eye begins glowing and those who look in them become mesmerized, like a frog staring into the eyes of the snake. They then become compelled to obey the user's commands and will not resist anything the user does to them. However, the health of the victim determines if they can break the 'spell'. The healthier they are, the harder it is to control them, the weaker the easier.

The user draws their own blood and draws a circle on the ground. They then make a sign and this summons a large amount of bats from hell. The bats look similar to that of vampire bats and have razor sharp teeth. They will attempt to attack and drain the target of both blood and chakra.
