Sena handed arcanine something, and he ran it over to Aeris and Han. "Its a poke-energy item, give it to Han." Arcanine dropped it into Aeris' hand, sat down and waited next to her patiently. "He'd also like to give you a ride," she said gesturing to Arcanine.

Lyn looked at the Haunter, then at Aeris, then back at the Haunter. "Couldn't you just put him into a pokeball?"  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris smiled at Sena and took the potion, feeding it to her pokemon.

My my, that really worked. He reappeared with a flash of purple and gave Aeris an affectionate lick.

"Ah...no, I couldn't possibly ride, but thank you so much for offering." Aeris responded, very flustered at the offer. "I can walk..."

She decided to ignore Lyn's comments about pokeballs.

Karen smiled happily at Aeris, relieved that she was alright. She began to wonder, though, how Aeris could easily appear and disappear as she did. Maybe when she was getting tired she would start to disappear. Was that part of her condition too? It seemed more like a curse than an illness to her. "Aeris, are you cursed?" Karen asked bluntly, wearing a countenance of innocence and curiosity.

Arcanine gently nudged Aeris' legs, he poked his nose and nipped the underside of her knee trying to make her sit down on his back. "Arcanine did not just offer, he decided the answer for you" Sena said while arcanine whined at Aeris.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris flushed and sat down on Arcanine, embarrassed that she was riding while everyone else was walking. "I'm okay...um...Thank you, Arcanine..." Her ghostly fingers skritched behind the firey puppy's ears.

Karen's question startled her, and she stared blankly for a moment before coming up with an intelligent reply. "No."

Tiger watched the Arcanine easily carry the human emo. He was amazed at the strength of the evolved pokemon. He turned to look at Lyn briefly, deciding that he'd probably be flattened if he tried to carry her. He turned back to the Arcanine and barked a compliment.

Not cursed....hmmm. Maybe she is and she'll die if she tells anyone! In that case, we probably shouldn't pressure her into telling us any more. Lyn walked up to Arcanine, took Aeris' hand and patted it like a mother would to soothe her frightened child. "It's okay. I understand." Lyn said with a nod and a grin on her face.

Captain Goldi was most depressed. He had set out to make Jade a very happy woman but all he managed to do was bring joy to a very flirtatious half-fruit. He went to check on Jade in her cabin but she wasn't there. He started pacing about his problem when suddenly the boat hit something hard and the Captain went flying. "Laaand! Hooooooo!!" came the voice of one of the crew men. They had beached themselves on the shore just outside of Petalburg.

Number 4 couldn't understand where Professor Redwood had disappeared to. She had searched the forest and even tried to get into his lab but he wasn't there. She began to worry about the where-abouts of the lost professor. She began to walk back to Rustboro. Maybe she had missed him...

The police force had also started to search for the professor and #4's missing Roserade. They couldn't find those two anywhere. Just then, Officer Jenny from Littleroot came roaring in on her motorcycle to meet with Officer Jenny from Petalburg. "Cousin, I have terrible news!" cried Jenny.
"What is it?" asked the other Jenny.
"Our other cousin Jenny's heard some strange rumors. She said that there's an egg stealing organization around here!" explained the first Jenny.
"An egg stealing organization? Hey! The Professor had an egg with him!" exclaimed the slower Jenny.
"That's right, we've got to find the Professor, who knows what they'll do to him."
"They'll steal his poke-egg!"
"Besides that!"
"...oh!"
And the two Jennies hopped on their bikes and road back toward Littleroot, unaware that they were being watched.

"Really? And I thought I had figured out why you disappear at random..." Karen sighed and stared at the ground before looking up at Aeris again. "So why do you disappear so suddenly all the time? How can you do that? Is Han making you disappear maybe?"

Jade was about to give Tristan a response when the ship hit something, causing Jade to fall over. Recovering from the fall, Jade looked over the edge of the ship and saw land. Sweet, beautiful land. She sprang up and ran towards her cabin. She was going to get Zev and get off this bloody ship.

Tristan wished he had helped Jade up after she fell. He had braced himself by holding on to the edge. He gathered up Paris and Cupid and followed Jade. "Hey, wait! What are you doing?"

Lyn started walking around in circles. She was thinking about what to do if they ran into an enemy. Sure, that Arcanine's strong looking, but I want to help too.... Lyn looked at her little Tiger and then she thought about Mr. Worm.

Theodore woke up. He'd been camping out for the past week and the Professor still wasn't presenting the new pokemon. He wanted a Mudkip, he needed a Mudkip. He wanted to start his pokemon journey as soon as possible and become a pokemon champion! He watched the Pokemon League Competition in Kanto. #2's Quagsire had inspired him to get a Water/Ground type pokemon. That and his older brother had a water pokemon. He looked outside his tent. No one was outside, they had all left to their jobs in the other cities. Theodore sighed and turned on his portable TV and tried to find a Pokemon channel.

Liam shut the door to his new home as he headed out with a tray of some freshly made rice balls to his brother's tent outside the Professor's house. He had to make sure his brother didn't starve while he camped out waiting for his new Pokemon. L.B.G. followed closely behind him, carrying a smaller tray of sushi. Liam lifted up the flap of the tent and wandered in. He just stood at the enterance, watching his brother flip channels from behind. He grinned and decided to wait for his brother to turn around and notice him, hopefully scaring the little Teddy in the process.

Jade heard Tristan and yelled over her shoulder, "Getting out of here!" She ran down the steps and eventually into her cabin. She picked up a startled Zev, grabbed her bag, and was sprinting back up the steps to the deck. Jade stopped and looked around, trying to spot a way off this damn ship.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris scowled and crossed her legs on Arcanine's back, responding to Karen as vaguely as possible. "In a sense. I guess."

She pulled her hand back from Lyn's grasp and stared streight ahead, starting to feel very boxed in with all the attention she was recieving.

Behind her Han faded into invisibility, floating along behind her in silence, a quiet comfort.

Tristan ran back to a rope ladder he saw. He was about to throw it over when he remembered; he still had a lot of pokedolls. He ran back to his holding place, bagged up the toys, and then came back. "There's a ladder over here!" Tristan called, but his hands were too full to throw it over.

Teddy felt a draft as the flap was opened again. "PROFESSOR!" He cried in excitement. "Oh...it's you. Hey Bro!" He took in a whiff of something pleasant smelling. "Rice balls!" He was suddenly drooling.
