Chris returned to the main room with a change of clothes and a hat that he would be wearing until he could get to a barber. "I'm in the mood for roasted poultry tonight. Who wants some?" He had his sword in hand and was stalking towards the kitchen.

Fritz purred loudly. Remy laughed nervously. "Easy there, Chris...you're the good guy, remember?"

"Don't worry, Rem, I'm not gonna hurt him...much."
Nate came out of the kitchen and saw a very perturbed Chris with a very sharp sword. Firebirds instinctively ran from sharp blades, but Nate was clearly no ordinary firebird. He grabbed a carving knife from the kitchen counter and held it at the ready.
Chris grinned and motioned to the door. "Gentleman's rules?"
Nate squawked his agreement and followed his dueling opponent to the door. They exited the Inn and no sooner were they outside than the sharp ring of steel on steel was heard throughout the land.
