Derek walked into the inn. He had been gone for some time, having to deal with issues best left unmentioned. Finding his way to his regular seat, he sat down and looked around. Not too many people seemed to be up and about. Perfect for quiet contemplation.
(i believe i am now less affected by pain and pain pills, enough to have some fun again)

With a small smile, Derek waved back. "Hello." He considered approaching, but decided to stay where he was. He had done a lot of walking.
(yeah. the healing is what bothers me. getting something to speed it up tomorrow)

Nodding a bit, Derek sipped at his drink. He knew very little about vampires, so he supposed he'd ask. "Do you mean you can't eat, only drink blood? As in, if you ate you'd have physical side effects?"
