Zulma entered the Inn obviously exhausted and her coat full of dust. She let herself on the closest chair and let her hand hang from her chair to scratch Baldur, who seemed as dusty and exhausted as his master.

"Well, you certainly are robust, Mr. Eckener..." MacPere pressed their lips together with a satisfied hum, lifting a hand to stroke the nape of his neck.
After a few seconds, he separated them and smiled, tapping a finger over the saxophonist's lips. "So... Am I to get dressed and brew myself some tea, or remain in bed, bored and lonely~?"

"Mmm..." Gren smiled, eyes narrowed in pleasure. This what what he'd had in mind the previous evening. "What's to happen is that I'll help you with dressing and I'll make the tea...besides, I think there's someone shifting downstairs, so you'll have conversation."

Zulma removed her coat and stood up, stumbling a little. She went to her room to tidy herself some, but as she passed MacPere's door she heard voices and MacPere's voice sounded so weak. She could not help it and knocked. "MacPere?" she called across the door.

Zulma came in, a little shy and looking worried. MacPere's pale face did not help her calm down. "Hello..." she started.
Then unable to contain herself she asked. "Is everything alright?" A 'yes' was not an answer she was expected nor would accept.

Zulma blinked, for a second she smiled "I am sorry for having had to leave so...abruptly." the smile disappeared. "I have seen better days...and so have you..." she stared at her friend, shifting between anger at him for obviously lying and at herself for not having been there.
"MacPere, please, ...tell me what happened."
The image of blood came to her mind...a present from Baldur who was rooming around in the main room.
"Tell me...what happened..." she repeated with a stronger ton.
((sigh...I have to leave for a while ...brb ))
