Nate was happy to put his talents to use for his friends. He cracked his knuckles and got straight to work, pulling out a large loaf of bread and ransacking the fridge. The rest was a blur of flying condiments and sounds that seemed more at home on a construction sight than in a kitchen.

"Nothing like watching a master at his craft," Tyler quipped, taking a spoonful of piping-hot chowder.
Azana yawned, finally waking up after the long all-nighter previous. Glancing over to the nightstand, she found an energy drink, a multivitamin, and a short note. "Gods...how did I get this lucky?" She asked herself with a smile, sitting up and rubbing the sleep from her eyes. She had a job to do.

Waltzing into the inn with a proud smirk, MacPere removed his sunglasses to glance about the main room. His hair had gotten a new cut, the old style was beginning to tire; he'd purchased himself a purring Harley Davidson on the high and had work eradicated for the moment. If the reports were anything, his mouse was doing well...
"Fridays are proving their worth..." He hummed under his breath, fixing a glass of water.
(Let's pretend until the Salon is fixed, haha)

"Young at heart as always," Tyler commented, finishing his chowder.
Jim whirred to life, rolling past Charlotte and inspecting the floor behind MacPere's shoes, doing a bit of spot cleaning. This would be a lot easier after that first run-through. The display read.

Taking a sip from the glass, he smiled. "Thank you, my dear. It just felt like a good day~" He walked around the bar and took a seat. "Besides, I need to have something that keeps the mister interested~"
He glanced to Tyler with a chuckle of agreement, attention caught by the whirring machine. "Well, we're quite the hub of futuristic technology, aren't we..."

Squeezing her back, MacPere gave a gentle rub to her back. "Hah, well, I do like to be rather skilled. Do you think so? He grunts a lot these days. Maybe my workload has gotten to him..."

"Maybe...tends to happen around here," Tyler shrugged, setting the bowl aside to return later. "The little guy running around is probably the biggest departure from my comfort zone since that brief foray into chemistry. Looks to be a success so far."

He peered back down to Charlotte, mouth pouting slightly. "More than just that?"
