"Can't complain. Things have been quiet around here, so my CO ordered me back to base for a few days to handle some paperwork. I hate paperwork." He took another swig of beer at this. "How's things between you and the little lady?"

Terry had entirely missed Charlotte's comment, a little too lost in his thoughts-- until he tripped over Jim, at least. "Wha--oh...goodness, was I really that out of it?"

Z opened her eyes from the last place she'd deactivated, now for the start up process. "Active, Model 001-Z..." Diagnostics were always the longest part. "Limbs...functioning normally. Neuro stabilizers...normal." Continuing with her self check, Z stood up and made an artificial yawn. "Databanks...searching...searching...searching...error, CMD missing...functionality falls to ninety percent maximum." With that out of the way, Z was free to move her robotic self in to the main room and update her information bank. Looking over at Terry, she scanned him to see if he was somehow damaged, "tripping" was not something one should do normally. "Are you malfunctioning?" She asked.
[[That was mildly interesting, I forgot how much I liked the robotics thing.]]

"I'm fine, thanks," Terry said, cheeks mildly flushed with embarrassment as he got back to his feet. "Valentine's Day jitters, I suppose...now who, or what, did I just trip over?"
The display answered before it rolled off elsewhere.
"Tyler finally finished it," Kristen said quietly, pulling off her fingerless gloves and earmuffs. "It is just as adorable as it sounded in blueprints."
