"She's greiving because, well...she had them, but they were panther cubs. She couldn't take care of them, and they weren't doing well, so...she had to take them to their grandparents. Baldur's parents. They were not impressed with the situation..."
He finished the rest of his cocktail with a hum. "She was getting overwhelmed by then, so that's all I've got. Normally, I wouldn't talk too much about it, but I think that having the two of us spread it would be easier on her than having to explain it over and over."
He stood with a grunt, popping his back. "I trust you'll be discreet...She said it's been a month, but it still tears her up."

Max nodded, taking in the story and ignoring various questions and thoughts she had. "Whoa...yeah, I don't blame 'er on that one," she said, still wrapping her head around it all. "Ya don't hafta worry...if there's one thing I've gotten good at, it's gettin' the word out in the right way. Gotta admit, though...I'm usually givin' good news, ya know? Anyway, won't let ya down, man..."
She headed for the stairs herself...she wasn't tired yet, but she could use a moment to get through that info-rush...heck, maybe Remy could be the first person she told. Either that or Sol...they always knew how to phrase things.

"Thank you...sorry for the dump, but thank you." he smiled crookedly, clearing the glasses. He'd have to work at not hitting the bottle himself, after such a day. Wondering vaguely how Terry was doing, he took to the kitchen to scrub dishes and think before heading to bed.
Remy sat in his room, sketching in a bright orange book, Tears for Fears softly playing from his computer, bracer glowing gold.

Zulma headed down. She had managed some sleep and felt a little stronger to face all the lovey-dowey of people at the Inn.
She did not want to ruin the mood of up coming Valentines' Day.
The woman disappeared in the kitchen to prepare a tea and some toasts.

Skulking into the Inn came a shadowy figure, dark clothing starkly contrasted by his gold-tipped hair and piercings. He perched on a stool, clearly dissatisfied by the axis tilt in the world. "By Shiva, I was not made for such a season..."

Zulma heard some noise in the main room and a voice she did not know. She popped her head out and stared at the new comer whom she had never met.
"H...Hello." she said softly.
She stepped out of the kitchen.
"May I help you?" she was somewhat puzzled by the man's appearance.

Zulma felt strangely uncomfortable in front of the man. The only plus was that she was not thinking about her sadness as she faced him, but that she was unaware of.
"S..sure" She prepared the tea in silence.
As she handed it to the man, she heard the toasts popping.
"Excuse-me."
She disappeared in the kitchen and came back with a tea for herself and some toasts.
"Would you care for some toasts?" she asked, putting butter, jam and honey on the counter.

"Hey! How's it goin' with the shady dealer?" Max greeted with a beaming smile, clearly joking with the description. Even though Remy and Sol were busy, she was able to talk it over with Tyler a bit last night. Sure, he was half asleep at that point, but it was better than nothing.

"Good morning Max." Zulma was surprised that the of them knew each other well enough to be teasing each other.
She bit into of the toasts, half chocking at the compliment, half blushing.
Blessed by my cooking? she stared at the man.
"This is nothing really..." she drank some of her tea.
