It's a Pokemon RP! We're still kind of in testing phase. ^^;

Karen's eyes widened slightly at the response. Her curious mind wouldn't let Aeris drop the subject just like that. "What do you mean in a sense? I don't get it."

Liam grinned at his drooling brother and ruffled his hair. "Can't have you dying of starvation yet, it's your turn to do the dishes for a week when you get back. The Little Blue Guy brought some sushi too." Liam and L.B.G. both set down their trays with one hand and lifted their sunglasses to the top of their heads simultaneously. They had worked on perfecting that same motion for a long time.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"Doesn't matter." She stated abruptly, closing her eyes and fighting down the growing sense of claustraphobia in her chest.  

[SephiLyn]

Lyn looked back at the others. "Hey guys. Um...I think I'd like to train a bit before going on our quest. I mean...what if something bad happened to Professor Redwood? And what if we get split up? I...I won't take too long, I promise! You can even wait for me at Petalburg if you want to. Here, Karen, you like cute things. Take care of the little Cleffa for a while, please?" Lyn started to walk off, this time she was searching for the monsters in the forest. Tiger walked behind her, wagging his tail. He knew he could bark loud enough to call the others if they got in trouble, and if that didn't work, Lyn could always scream loud enough.

Teddy started stuffing his mouth full of rice balls and sushi. " But you have L.G.B. to help with dishes. I don't have a pokemon yet. And besides," he swallowed, "the Professor hasn't even come out lately, at least not since the rain. And he said he'd come back and give me a Pokemon, but he's not here. I've knocked on the door but...he's not there..." Teddy began to gain tears in his eyes, he really wanted a Mudkip and he had a feeling the Professor was dodging him. But, not wanting to cry in front his big brother, he pretended he was choking on a rice ball and started drinking from his water bottle.  

[Its-a-Lyn]

Captain Goldi ran to the top of the deck when he heard Jade saying she wanted off. "NOOOO! My sweet muffin cake! Don't leave!" He cried as he ran toward her.  

[Semu Namu]

"Sounds like a good plan" Sena replied to Lyn, glancing at Karen and Aeris. "Let's keep moving to the next city".

Meanwhile, Tsukasa was becomming restless in her beachy ways. It was time to stop lounging around and get to a new town. She spotted the distant sparking city a while ago. Littleroot town would not be a difficult or distant voyage. She stood up, picked up her katana and spoke, "Today we sail to Littleroot town!" The girls cheered excitedly and gathered thier belongings.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris rested her head in her hands and shook it slightly. "Alright well I need a pokemon before I can train." She once again thought of the disgruntled Roserade in her dress pocket and shivered. She couldn't even consider that thing a pokemon.

She wanted another ghost or psychic type..."After we go to Litterroot, can we catch a ferry to Dewford?" She wanted a Sableye.  

[Michiru Tendo]

"Hm, well it matters to me, I really want to know how you're disappearing works! I'm curious. But if you don't want to tell me right now, that's okay. I'm sure I'll find out eventually!" Karen smiled at Aeris before turning around to see Lyn running off to go train. "Wait, Lyn! I'll come with! I wanna train Antoine a little!" Karen started to take off after her, but then twirled around again to look at Aeris and Sena. "If you two are going to go on ahead of us, could you take care of this little guy for me?" She nodded at the little Cleffa and then turned around to chase after Lyn. "I'll see you two soon!"

Liam smiled at his little brother, not noticing that the tears were from his disappointment rather than from choking. He bent down to ruffle Teddy's hair a bit before kneeling down next to him. "The professor's probably out running some crazy last minute errand, he'll be back soon, I promise. And I'll see to it that you get the first choice of his Pokemon."  

[Semu Namu]

Sena grabbed the Cleffa and poked it. "...sure" she said as Karen rushed off. She looked over at Aeris, "you know, I really hate forests. So I'm going to run like hell to Petalburg, Arcanine will stay with my speed." She grumbled more about forests and bug pokemon as she held the Cleffa close and started a mad dash.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris couldn't explain why her heart broke when Karen abandoned her. She really didn't want to have it explained, so she silently nodded and clenched her knees tight around Arcanine's body as he sprinted after Sena.

It wasn't like she could expect the girl to stay with her all the time.

That would be irrational.

She was only human.

....too bad Aeris wasn't. And just like that, as the light at the end of the dense forest came into view, Aeris disappeared with a crackle of purple light, Han fast on her heels. She'd reappear again when she'd had time for a good long sulk.

Karen chased after Lyn with Cosette galloping close behind her. She suddenly felt bad about leaving Aeris behind. After all, Karen was the one who had practically begged Aeris to travel with her. She decided to turn back and move on to Petalburg with Aeris and Sena; Lyn had already reassured her that she would be fine, anyway. She stopped and whirled around only to find the familiar purple light surrounding Sena's Arcanine. Aeris had disappeared again, and somehow Karen felt it was her own fault. She stared down at the ground for a while, pondering what to do now. Since she had stopped, Lyn had already gotten too far ahead of her for Karen to catch up. Sena and Arcanine were now running off in the opposite direction. Aeris had disappeared. She decided to run off into the woods to do a little training as she originally intended. If she met up with Lyn, then they could train together. If she wound up finding Aeris, then she would be very relieved.

Professor Cute was didn't like mad rushing. He latched on to Sena as best her could, not wanted to fall somewhere.

Lyn walked around. "Alright Karen, hurry up!" She started to search for some Wurmples, Tiger was good against those.

Teddy smiled, "Thanks big bro!" He ate some more, now thinking of his very own Mudkip. He hoped it was boy, girl pokemon were troublesome.

Aeris sat in the highest bough of the tallest tree, in the darkest corner of the woods she could find. It was comfortable here...Tomorrow she would reappear in Petalburg. It was a cute town she'd been to before; probably not her favorite because of it's cheerfulness, but...well.

She sniffled sadlly and stared at the ground far below, trying not to think of her own pathetic nature.

Karen heard a very distant voice say her name. She recognized it as Lyn's voice and began to wander off in that direction. She slowly walked toward the general area where she was sure Lyn would be and surveyed her surroundings for any sign of the dark haired girl who had disappeared only a few minutes earlier. Karen really couldn't be very sure if Aeris was still in these woods, but it wouldn't hurt to look around for her, right?

"You look for her too, alright, Cosette? The really pretty black haired girl, the one who keeps disappearing. You have good eyes, so you'll probably find her before I do." Karen smiled and patted her Ponyta's head. The Ponyta nodded and nuzzled her hand before trotting a bit ahead of her.

Aeris heard something move far below her and floated down the trunk. Her heart was beating faster as she pushed aside the leaves of a bush to discover...a shroomish. Her heart had just finished sinking in disappointment when the little mushroom leaf pokemon attacked her in an angry rush of leaves. Aeris spun out of the way just as Han reappeared in front of her, ready to do his part.

Remember when I could knock one of these piss ants out in a quarter of one hit? He chuckled and licked the Shroomish, narrowly avoiding a Leech Seed attack and laughing harder as the little confused pokemon fought off paralysis and tried to tackle Han.

I remember. Aeris pulled out a pokeball, and enlarged it. You have enough energy to lick it, and I think that's all you'll need for us to catch this little midget.

Han nodded and licked the little guy again, giggling childishly as the pokemon struggled fruitlessly against the paralysis seeping across it's short body. Aeris always loved the whimsical way Han fought. She walked up to the helpless pokemon and smiled.

"You should feel honored." She started, preparing to throw the pokeball. "To join the ranks of the dead walking." She threw the pokeball and watched it convulse, hoping to hear the click..and yes. The light faded, and Shroomish was hers.

"...You don't need a nickname."

Cosette's ears pricked up at the same time Karen heard the cry of an angry Pokemon. She turned toward this new sound. It was much closer than Lyn's voice was. She decided to take a quick detour to let Antoine battle this Pokemon, if none of the other trainers in these woods had gotten to it first, anyway. As she rushed toward the sound she heard a new voice. It was silky and elegant, almost like...

"Aeris? Aeris, are you there?!" Karen called out and ran faster toward the voice. She pushed aside the leaves of the bushes blocking her path to reveal the dark haired beauty staring down at a Pokeball.
