"...hi," she greeted shyly, almost hiding behind her small mug.
"One root beer float for Fairuz...hope it satisfies your fizzy fix!" Sosol announced, sending it his way. Violet had grown a little more accustomed to his ability, but it still attracted her attention in a way that most others ignored by this point.

"I know," he answered simply, always enjoying the opportunity to do something like that for the patrons. He watched Violet, hoping that she'd grow a little more trusting in time. Of course, catching the people responsible for her state wouldn't hurt things, either.
Violet nodded, setting down the mug and looking to Fairuz with a halfway grin. "Yes, he is..."
A pair walked into the Inn, ones that hadn't been in for a week or longer. One, a blond on a mission, dressed in blue with her hair swept up into a bun. The other more laid back, a brown braid trailing just past his shoulder blades. He seemed a lot happier to be there than the woman, but then again, he wasn't the one in the hot seat.

Gren waved with a polite smile. Seeing them together calmed his mind, but he wasn't looking forward to Eli's encounter with the pair, on top of his own particular inclinations. "Afternoon...here to help?"

"Yes, though Az wasn't exactly polite in asking," Stella answered, setting down her purse and pulling out a pair of texts. "She sounded pretty pissed, and told me to bring some books on demons."
"I'm just here 'cause I like the atmosphere, but if there's something I can do, feel free to ask," Terry added. Stella was so independent, or at least that's the image she wanted...fine. He could help with that, but he knew better.
Violet looked at the two, relatively calm despite their blowing in with the wind. If Azana called them, and Gren claimed they were here to help...were they supposed to be finding a way of stopping the choker? Could they even do that?

Bursting in with a snarl etched in his expressions, crow's feet a mere hint, Eliwood stopped. His head turned slightly. Eyes narrowed. His mouth twitched in an awkward smile.
"Hello..." He said carefully, clearly, closing the door gently behind him.
Fairuz took his leave.

"She went toe-to-toe with a nasty artifact...Violet, this is Stella and Terry. Stella's going to see if she can get that choker off, okay?" he said calmly.
Jumping slightly at the yell, his heart sank at the sight of his husband. 'Oh damn.'

Violet flinched, shrinking in her seat at the yelling.
Stella was about to give the choker a closer look but turned to the door. "Hello, Eli," she greeted, feeling a bit awkward herself.
"Mr. MacPere...you seem in a bit of a sour mood today," Terry greeted him, for once happy to see him.
Sosol frowned, watching Fairuz slink away. Sure, he was playing hooky from his job, but was a root beer float really such a crime?
