Violet reluctantly nodded, a little wary about showing off her artwork after that psychiatrist used it to diagnose her...thankfully she found hiding the medication easy. She pushed it wordlessly across the table to him, continuing to enjoy her breakfast.

Rolling his eyes with a mutter, MacPere stood from the chair, taking a bite of the pancakes. His foot rose and kicked at the man's chest to topple him backward, unsatisfied frown remaining on his lips. "'Goods'. You are describing a human girl. And you think that your little cult is going to benefit anyone?" He growled his frustration, tipping the pancakes onto the floor and throwing the china at the man's face.
"Listen to me," eyes narrowed in a sinister fashion, MacPere lifted a brogue and rested it on the edge of the tipped chair, resting his elbow on the raised thigh. "You make me sick, and I already dislike you and everything you represent. To even think of treating a child that way, much less conducting torture unthinkable to even my mind on her? Hah... I'm going to have fun with you. I hope you enjoyed your breakfast."
Giving a stern look of beckoning to his husband, MacPere exited the basement, each footstep full of aggravation.

Gren nodded, nudgung Nishi, who woke with a sleepy chirp. "Make sure he diesn't do anything."
"No."
"Bacon." he replied, tossing the chibi, following Eli out. "Love, don't sink to their level...he's complying so far."

Violet finished the bowl, lifting it to drink the milk as Remy flipped through her artwork. She had embellished some of the portraits into something a little more fantastic, while others remained relatively realistic...at a certain point, though, the notebook took a turn for the abstract, coming to a crashing halt with the portrait of Kasdeya, her eyes smirking at her beholder from the page.
The man fell with a grunt, glaring up at the two. It didn't last, though, as he moved his head to avoid the plate. "I have, thank you...you cannot keep her, you realize. She will be returned. Kasdeya will come...and I cannot wait to see what she does to you." As the two left, he returned to his mantras and prayers.

Violet glanced over the bowl as she set it down, her skin erupting in goosebumps at the drawing. "Y-yes...that's her...I don't know why...but I drew her..."
"...somehow, I doubt you'll share," the man said with a sigh, closing his eyes and going back to his prayers. A little was better than he even expected...

Grumbling under his breath, MacPere locked the door behind them, punching the wall on his way back to the main room. He needed to let off some steam before seeing Violet... she would immediately be on alert otherwise.

Gren followed, looking generally sour.

Violet nodded but turned the page to more pleasant pastures. "...sorry...I just...reflex. But thank you..."
Sosol strolled downstairs with a smile on his face, though he couldn't help but notice a faint hint of hostility in the air. Not wanting to alarm anyone, he simply waved hello to Remy and Violet and took his usual station. "...she's out cold. Thanks for sending her up, Remy."

Violet stood, picking up her bowl to clean up after herself. On the way to the kitchen, noticing Gren and Eli in rather bad moods. Sticking to one side of the hall, she continued onward silently, wondering what had happened.
Sosol watched her leave the room, kind of glad she felt at liberty to do so. She didn't seem the sort to roam far. "Wacha got there, Remy?"

"Her notebook..she's got a good series going on of folks around here. A lot of the main players are in here, see?" he said, handing it over.

Violet began to wash out her bowl and spoon, humming to herself. It seemed she would be here for a little while...she could at least help in little ways instead of drawing all the time.
Sosol began looking through the pages. "...she's really good," he commented, chuckling lightly at a picture of Azana in armor. She would never wear it, but it was definitely a good fit on her personality. Gren and Eli, Chris...even one of Stacy and Tyler. Had she met them? He reached the abstract section and blinked...it seemed a sudden departure. What happened?
