Angeles looked down at Zulma as she said that she wouldn't rest if Angeles left. Her expression was somber and her eyes were expressionless, she smiled though as she felt loved in a way, "it will be for the best, I would prefer never to think of any of my friends as prey and one night I did. If you had been there, I would have attacked you and killed you."
Angeles sighed and looked away ashamed, "I don't want it to happen again."

MacPere whistled to himself and yawned a bit, only just realising how much Gren had taken out of him. His hands made for his pockets and found something within one, having a tag attached to it. "Oh, yes..."
He stood and tapped Gren on the shoulder, dropping it into his hand and walking back to his seat as soon as the gift was recieved.

Gren smiled. He liked presents. "Thanks..." He carefully unwrapped it. Upon discovery of its contents, he turned bright red, wondering if perhaps this held all of the connotations it usually did when one recieved a ring.

MacPere sipped at his water with a smile, speaking as though he could almost read Gren's mind. "Do not worry yourself, dear, I am not asking you to marry me. Firstly, I don't see why you would want to and... I really cannot see myself going through that again."

"Angeles...you cannot change who you are...what you are..." Zulma's eyes were looking at her friends. "Fleeing won't do you any good."
She paused and wearily added. "Fleeing never helps..." that was meant for the vampire as well as for herself. Her smile was sad.
"Please...stay." she held tighter the vampire's hand in hers as if she feared that she would just run away.

Angeles smiled down at Zulma, "I have a choice, all vampires have a choice," she reached up and touched the black orchid, "I chose to remain a vampire, as all vampires in existence have chosen not to drink the black orchid potion. It is my choice, just as it is my choice to leave and keep you from harm."
She paused and thought on her decision. She had chosen not to take Edmund's serum because there was no one around her that she could hurt other than those she intended to. Now was a different case, but she had no desire to be human again, ever. But would she stay, could she manage to after what she had done to MacPere and Gren.

Zulma listened to Angeles with attention.
"I will find some more nectar, candies...whatever you need. I know that the choice is yours. I just...I just wish that my opinion would matter to you." she added, bringing her eyes down. That last sentence sounded so presumptuous.
"Have Gren or MacPere said that they wanted you out of the Inn?" she asked in a murmur.

Fenyx woke up. He felt like no time had passed, then he looked at a calender. Several days had passed, venting magic, making him even more exhausted. He stood up, dazed from the constant magic usage. He stopped his flow of magic immediately, the one coming from a previous spell he had forgotten to cancel.
"This energy flow, it is obscene. I must cancel it, all traces of it, for at least a day. Suscitatio, lux lucis et vulgivagus umbrae, unum fila nigra promissiva, mihi limitationem per unus dies"
A black band appeared around Fenyx's arm, bearing the Roman numeral 'I'. His magic flowed out of his body, as did his SIN markings. He was no longer a mage, no longer a demon, or an angel. If only for 24 hours, he was human.
He found a black coat, covering his mostly bare skin, as he did not need a coat under the curse of SIN. He had forgotten how feeble humanity was against the elements. Bearing this in mind, he walked outside.

"No," said Angeles, "they do not know that i plan on leaving," she said, fearing that her cold hands would make Zulma's hands cold so tried to pull them away, "and unless you tell them they will probably not realize I'm gone for several days. They are very happy together now."

Zulma held firmly Angeles's hand, although if the vampire really wanted she could remove her hand anytime for Zulma's strength was nothing compared to Angeles's.
The woman nodded.
"If they wanted you out, they would have left or asked me to kick you out. They have done neither and they were the ones who were physically hurt."
A brief smile came to Zulma's lips at Angeles's last comment.
"I must admit...I envy them." her eyes clouded for a second. Strangely the shadow of Karasu did not seem to have fully disappeared.
"Really..." she started, trying to make her voice joyful. "You would let me here all by myself being the third wheel?! What kind of friend would you be then?!"

Angeles smiled at Zulma as the woman tried to lighten the mood. Angeles slipped her hands from Zulma and rubbed them a bit, "I don't want your hands to freeze," she thought a moment, "if you will make more nectar and candy, allow me to pay you for the supplies to do so. Then," she said almost unwillingly, "I will stay, if it means that much to you."

Zulma stared at her empty hands for a moment and looked up as Angeles spoke about staying.
"The blood is about 3 Gaia Gold a liter. I buy it from Louie's supplier. That ensures the quality and origin of the product."
Zulma's voice was very business like. She went on.
"The special sugar which helps the processing of the blood in your organism as well as enable a better taste is more expensive. It depends on the season. From 5 to 10 Gaia Gold for a kilogram."
She paused a moment to think about the recipe.
"The rest of the ingredients are minimal and used in any human cuisine, there is no way you should be charged for that."
She looked up at the vampire and extended her right hand very formally.
"Do we have a deal?" she asked trying to refrain herself from jumping at Angeles's neck with tears of happiness.
