[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris shrunk the pokeball in her hand and spun upon hearing Karen's voice, stuffing the ball in the pocket of her dress.

"H-Hello..." Her shy stutter was back again, wave after wave of shame at her own childish behavior returning to plague her mind. He looked at the ground, hoping her eyes weren't red from her previous sniffling.

Karen's face lit up as she breathed a sigh of relief and ran over to Aeris to give her a tight hug. "I'm so so SO sorry I left you! I was about to turn back, but you were gone! I was hoping I'd find you, and I'm so glad I did.. I was worried you wouldn't come back." Karen let go of her to give her a cheerful smile. She soon noticed Aeris's reddened eyes and softly touched her cheek, a worried expression taking over her smile. "Were you crying, Aeris..? I'm so sorry..."  

[Semu Namu]

Sena and Arcanine ran at a good pace, Sena still grumbling about the forest. Arcanine suddenly barked, but it was too late, Sena was smacked in the face with a leek. "What the-?" She asked as she looked around. Arcanine growled, ready to face whatever attacked his mistress. A bush moved, and Arcanine was on it in an instant, barking widly and chasing out a---farfetch'd? Those weren't exactly common around here. "Arcanine, swift attack!" The farfetch'd was not laughing now, and was weakened by the attack. "Just for attacking me, I'm going to capture you!" Sena threw the pokeball, and picked it up after the farfetch'd was safely contained. "I'll call you...Dux." Arcanine and Sena continued to the city, irritated, tired, and really hating the forest.

Aeris couldn't hide her surprise at all the contact from Karen, standing stiffly while she hugged her and even more stiffly as her hand brushed her cheek. However, she started when Karen asked her if she'd been crying.

"No, actually, I walked through that bush over there. Stuff got in my eyes and I rubbed them too much. Are they red?" She lied smoothly, keeping her face impassive.

What a nice excuse to sail, Tsukasa thought to herself. The whole team collected on one boat, they set off for Petalburg. They could just walk to littleroot from there. She released Syther from his pokeball, who walked around the ship happily. "Miss Tsu, may I ask what our objective is once we reach Littleroot Town?" asked Tiffany. Tsukasa thought for a moment, "I'll tell everyone my plan once we get to Petalburg." She had to figure out how soon the group she planned on intersepting would be there anyway.

Karen removed her hand from Aeris's cheek as her smile reappeared across her features. "Really? I'm glad that's all, I was worried again for a second." She giggled before looking around. "I thought I heard a Pokemon around here, did you catch it already?"  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"Maybe I did." Aeris said, turning her head away in guilt from the gullible girl.

It's your fault for being an excellent liar.

Shove it.  

[Michiru Tendo]

"Just maybe?" Karen smiled and giggled again. "You don't want to tell me? It'd be helpful to know; if you haven't caught it then I'm going to have to keep looking for it! I want to try giving Antoine a chance to battle."  

[SephiLyn]

Lyn was wandering around, contemplating her sudden abandonment of the group. And where was Karen? She didn't know. She kept on walking when she tripped over something. "Ooof!" She turned to look back and see...a Wurmple! Lyn held Tiger back, deciding that Mr. Worm should have a chance to fight. Mr. Worm, feeling a bit guilty about attacking a fellow Wurmple, gave it a half-hearted Tackle! "Come o, Mr. Worm! You can do it! Give 'em some more Tackles!" The enemy Wurmple gave a Tackle of his own, which caused Mr. Worm to give an more spirited Tackle, a critical hit! Mr. Worm did a victory squirm.

Mr. Worm's getting stronger.

Luckily for Sena, a group of migrating Farfetch'd were the cause of her rare catch. Unfortunately for her, this group saw her catch thier friend. Sena jumped onto arcanine and he ran them wildly to the city as they were being pelted with leeks. Sena knew how to get rid of them, as they saw the city entrance she commanded arcanine; "Arcanine, growl!". Arcanine responded immediately with a heart piercing growl that stuck fear in the flock. The Farfetch'd flew away in a panic, "Now, let's get us to a pokemon center." Arcanine barked in agreement.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"I caught it." Aeris said, staring at Karen with forlorn eyes. "It's a shroomish. It's getting late and I would like to get back to the city, Sena is there by herself. If you would like, our pokemon can battle later to train." She began to walk away, hoping the girl would follow her.  

[Michiru Tendo]

"A shroomish? I've never seen one before. Would you show it to me sometime? I hope it's cute!" Karen giggled happily and nodded in agreement at Aeris's suggestion. "Yes, we probably should go meet up with Sena. Oh, but what about Lyn?" Karen stood and thought about what she should do as Aeris walked away from her. Lyn was still all alone; she didn't like that. But at the same time shouldn't she make up for abandoning Aeris earlier? Karen caught up with the little bit of distance Aeris had covered while Karen was pondering what to do and gripped her sleeve. "Aeris, could we go find Lyn first? I want to let her know that I'm not going to train after all right now. I think she heard me shouting after her and she's probably wondering where I am now."  

[SephiLyn]

By this time, Lyn had joined Mr. Worm in his victory wiggling. Squirm to the left, squirm to the right...and then get barked at by Tiger who thought the whole thing was very silly. "Okay, fine! I'll go take you to find another pokemon to fight. Sheesh!" Lyn picked up Mr. Worm and started walking around again with Tiger out in front to sniff for wild Pokemon.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris stared hard at Karen for a moment, her violet eyes piercing through her. It would be dark soon, and so Aeris would begin to grow translucent and glow. Karen had seen this and the others had not, so it was probably a good idea to stay away from the city until she was certain no one would be out on the streets to see her. Once she got inside the lit Pokemon Center or wherever they were staying, the light around her would diminish and it would be safe, but until then...

"I'll help look for her..." It was a good way to pass some time until past dark.

Tiger, Mr. Worm and Lyn stopped to eat. They had some food that Lyn had brought with her, Cinnabar Cinnabun Lava Bites; mini cinnabuns for mini mouths. Mr. Worm had never had food like this before and he was doing happy wiggles now. Tiger ate his food quickly and then started sniffing the surrounding area again. Lyn nibbled on her food, she craddled her egg in her lap and rubbed it, wondering if that would help her egg hatch faster. Egg was unaware of all this and was slept it's embryo sleep.

Teddy finished watching the lastest Battle Frontier battle on his portable TV. He sooooooooooooooo wanted a Mudkip. They were going to take down everyone and become the Champion of Champions! There hadn't been one of those in a long time....
