I'm so limited in my CSS knowledge that I'm limited in what I can do in itself. I don't know if I'd call it minimalistic...maybe? I don't know. I'm trying to present my work as...a little more cleaner. I think I can pull it off better.

There are still some stuff I'm working out, and I probably should go a shade darker, but I'm sticking with the grey color scheme.
Sorry, Qyp, if it's a little difficult, but there are just as many people with good eye-sight than poor eye-sight and if the poor sighted people can still read it, it will be fine. Not like I have 5 paragraphs on each page.

I wish I knew a CSS whiz that would help me with the portfolio section. It looks like a tacky photobucket gallery.

I need a clean way to present my artwork.
I do photography and illustration.
So, I want one banner or image representing my photography and the other my illustration.
This may also require some Flash Work or something because I want a slide show created when you click on them.
That or just the banners and when you click on them it opens up a gallery - the layout should be very organized and clean.

A slide show is a lot more difficult than simply linking a person, via banner, to another page that opens up a gallery. That and a slide show would require, as you said, either flash or Java Script (neither of which I'm skilled at).
The easiest rout would be to use just CSS, but you'd have more of a list thing going on. Have you thought about using a table to organize everything in? I've seen it where, when you hover over an image in table form, it "pops" up and becomes larger

But I think I know what I'm going to do.
You'll have an image for photography and another for illustrations.
Click on one and it takes you to another page which will have work for the genre of art organized. I won't have a slide show, but hey, it's more appealing to the eye than that tacky thing I have now.
