Fenyx woke up in a daze. He looked around, but no one was there...
He seemed to remember that everyone had gone to sleep soon after he had, so he climbed back into an unoccupied bed, and entered the land of his dreams once more...

Gren, by this point, had sneaked out with the silk scarf trailing behind, clutched in his hand. It was good that she was so playful, and he liked her support of his relationship, but she needed to remember that they had separate rooms.
Still, she had lightened up considerably, and he was happy about that. Now he finally had some time to visit Zulma...He made his way downstairs, paused to wonder about the girl sleeping in front of the hearth and placing an afghan over her, and quietly entered the medical wing, taking a seat next to Zulma's bed. He began reading a dog-eared novel as he waited for her to wake.

MacPere hummed happily as he heaved himself through the inn's main door, hauling a pine tree with both arms and kicking a box through. He chuckled to himself and murmured, finally getting the entire trunk through. "Ohoho, this'll be a nice surprise~"

Hearing loud scuffling noises upstairs snapped Gren out of the epic battle. Looking up, he debated between following curiosity and watching over Zulma. He did wasn't to talk to her pretty badly, but she was sound asleep. After a moment's consideration, he petted her head gently, set down his book, nodded to the nurse, and walked up the stairs to investigate.

"Come on... Ah! Perfect~" MacPere wrestled the tree to its base, standing it up beside the piano. With a satisfied sigh, he then walked back to pick up the kicked-about box, opening it and taking out a bauble. "... I should've maybe been a little gentler with the box..."

"What are you..? A tree? You didn't haul that in yourself, did you?" Gren stood at the doorway to the medic wing, smiling. "It's a beatuy, though...what's that you've got?"

"Maybe I did..." MacPere turned to Gren with a smile, still holding up the bauble. "It isn't as though I was straining my side, though. It's all in the legs~"
He strolled to the tree and hooked the bauble upon a branch, looking at the plant contentedly. "It was a little past the mountains... Good quality trees. I figured we needed one. Would you like to help me decorate?" He held out the box and jingled it teasingly.

"Yeah, sure! But I think that the lights go on first..." Gren was thrilled. He hadn't decorated a real tree in a long time.

MacPere removed the bauble and replaced it in the box, placing it upon the floor and kneeling before it in an attempt to untangle the lights. "I probably should have bought some new decorations rather than using my own old, tangled ones..."

"Ah, already dying," said Angeles gently lifting one of the sad looking plumes of the carnations MacPere had given her. She had put it in a vase of water in the sunlight, but she had never had much luck with keeping plants alive. She let the bloom fall from the back of her hand and she sighed, "com on little flower you can make it."
She then heard a noise downstairs, a very strange noise, so she turned and walked down the stairs and stopped at the sight of the tree. Her coat and hat were inside her room, she was not planning on leaving any time soon so her arms were completely exposed, though there was nothing much significant about that.
She was however intrigued by the tree, and a warm smile eventually replace her bemused expression. It would be her first real Christmas in a very long time. But MacPere was holding something and a thought came to mind that she could not let go unheard, "well MacPere," she said with a devilish smirk, "that some might big and shiny balls you have there."
She came down the stairs the rest of the way and folded her arms, leaning her shoulder against the wall of the landing.
