"Yeah, with a far different reception," she muttered to herself, nodding in answer to the question. Some of her stash wouldn't move well, and besides, the new tenants would need something to start with.
Violet had made her way out toward the edges of the pages, now filling in fine details. Maybe she should color it, she thought as it began to take a more polished form...
Azana walked out with the bowl in hand, glancing up to see Jeff. "Whoa...there's someone who hasn't been around in a while! I wondered if you'd ever come back."

Jeff nodded at the man, not sure about what to do with him.
Azana's arrival made him turn his head and give the woman a small smile.
He had heard she was out, he did not know when she had awoken.
"Azana, how are you doing?" he asked.

"I'm doing alright...taking care of the whole 'hungry' bit right now," she answered, lifting the small bowl slightly as indication. "Definitely not doing something like that again for a while." She chuckled, taking a seat nearby.
Stella simply shook her head, grinning a little in her direction. Nagging her wasn't going to stop anything.
Violet took a moment to stop, looking over the work of the past while. It was a large, circular pattern...vaguely like a mandala and deeply detailed, inspired by the strange pictures in his book.
"...would you like color?" She asked after being silent for a while.

"Any progress regarding the necklace?" he asked in a muted voice.

"Yes, actually," she answered, marking her page again. "Our friend here was able to trick it out of following her and hurting those who pulled on it. It's still stuck on her, though...I guess that's my job to figure out."
Violet stood from her seat, heading upstairs to fetch her colored pencils...

"No, but I doubt it'll come off if we try," Stella answered him. "It's unbound, but probably still cursed, and pretty much any cursed item I know doesn't want to be removed."
Violet returned with a rather sizable box of colored pencils, beginning to choose a few and shade in certain areas.
"It's worth a shot...Vi, can you unclasp that collar for us?" Azana asked, already almost done with dinner.
Violet blinked, feeling around for a clasp. "I'm not sure if it has one...oh, maybe here?" She tried near the charm, but nothing seemed to budge.

"Um, sure..." Violet answered, a little more confident now that a tug wouldn't cause so much trouble.
Stella went back to flipping through the book, reading intently...maybe something in here could give her an idea.

Jeff sighed and opened one of his books too. Now that the link had been removed, he was wondering if that would have change the category and hence the possible angles of attack of the curse in itself.
He looked up at Stella.
"The link is broken, so this is neither a touching nor a following curse...would that put the necklace in the 'possessed' items category instead?"
He scratched his head.
"We'd need an exorcist..."
