"Well, no, but...I kind of assumed I could do something for them, like I am for you..." Violet answered him, rubbing at one arm in slight embarrassment. The question of how was proving a difficult one...they seemed to have everything they needed, even a resident artist. What could she do?

She took it cautiously and looked at it.
"Wow this is beautiful! You are a fine artist...hey! This is me."
She laughed and showed the drawing to Adam.

"Oh?" said Adam, taking a look. "Oh my...this is lovely, Miss Violet! I'd bet you can draw anything!" he said, genuinely impressed. "Everything I've tried comes out in squiggles."

Zulma smiled and nodded vigorously.
"Yes...yes it is. Thank you so much Violet."
She stood up and closing the distance between her and Violet, she bowed to give a give on the teen's forehead.
Jeff kinda sorta wanted to see the drawing but he did not ask and just stayed in his seat, looking at people around him.

Zulma was happy about her day and the drawing. She looked at it. It felt warm and welcoming. So that was how Violet saw her? She blushed and her eyes thanked again the young woman.
Noticing Adam pouring a cup, she called on him.
"Hey barman! A tea please." she laughed.

Zulma looked at Adam from her seat after she put her drawing with her book with care.
He seemed happy that she included him. He was an interesting character.
"Sugar no cream..." she added with a bright smile as she guessed some worry on the man's features.
