"Whatever makes ya comfy...ya shoulda seen it, though! Stella turned Nate bright green! Totally freaked 'im out..." Max chuckled, flopping back on her bed and kicking off her shoes. "So...guess I oughta hear this, huh?"
Tyler was off-key, but he really didn't seem to care with it. He hadn't had a night like this in a while...well, not counting Stacy's love for dancing. I swear, I owe half this relationship to Max...

"Probably...all right. You know how drunk guys get at a party late at night..." he said, sitting down. "Anything that gets offered is usually happily accepted? Beyond drinks and kisses? Well, apparently, I lose my ability to tell the difference in gender...Yeah. Awkward."
Gren laughed drunkenly, continuing along the song, enjoying the chorus as it was belted out.

Charlotte slinked down the stairs, Fee on her shoulder. "All right, Fee...we all mighta forgot, but we hafta make Enta-kun a birthday cake. I only know how to decorate them, so it's up to you to direct. I mean, I'll follow the recipe, but you know the nuances, right?"
"Piigrii! Keikii! Mii kukiit!"
"Bueno!" she beamed, slipping into the kitchen.
Elsewhere in the main room, tiny claws clicked against the floor, an endearing chirp sounding in question, apparently lost.

Violet walked downstairs, looking around the quiet main room. The past few days had been so quiet, almost dull...on the bright side, no one seemed to mind that she was still around.
"Beware the kitchen," Tyler said from a table, tinkering a little with Jim. "Charlotte's cooking..."

"I've never had any of Charlotte's cooking..." Violet said, somewhat intimidated by clicking in the kitchen and heeding Tyler's warning because of it.
"Neither have I," he answered, finishing his work and closing the hatch. As Jim began to boot up, he set the small bot on the floor and let it go about its program in peace. "And, on some level, that's what's unsettling about it."
"Where's your sense of adventure?" Max asked, beaming as she arrived in the main room. "Besides, she usually doesn't mess with food..."

Working up to a full-blown scuttle, the clicking sounds approached hastily, a small orange blur landing on the table and skidding across the surface, falling off the opposite edge. "Haiiiiiii~!" it squeaked as it passed.

"I wouldn't worry...those things are incredibly durable," Tyler answered her...exactly how durable, he wasn't sure, and none of them seemed to hold still long enough to see.

Hopping easily onto the table came a minute rendering of Manny, tiny claws clicking on the table. "Okai!" he chirped, making a few whistling noises. Fee scampered out of the kitchen, leaving a small trail of floury footprints, making tiny growl noises. Sniffing each other over, they cheeped happily in Chibish.

"...chibis." Tyler shrugged, looking to Max. "You okay? You're looking a little less cheerful than usual."
"Yeah," she answered, quickly correcting herself. "No...I'm worried 'bout Remy. Haven't seen 'im 'round lately, and I think it's gotta do with those future memories he got..."
"Future...memories?" Violet asked, finding the statement an oxymoron.
"What're you talking about?" Tyler asked, having not heard about this.
"That King guy was Enta...from the future. Remy took a drop an' got his memories...his past--"
"But our future...but one that might not even happen, now that there's been that time paradox..." Tyler hummed in thought. "Big burden for him...I won't butt in unless he asks, but I have the feeling he's going to need you. Just look at Sol after he has one of those visions..."
"Yeah...but it's like he's takin' it all on himself...probably doesn't wanna panic people."
"Well, then no one will hear about it...not until I get the all-clear, at least."
"I...I guess I can keep quiet..." Violet muttered, her presence seemingly forgotten.
"Ya two are the best...thanks." She hugged each of them. "Now...what're we gonna do about all this quiet and stuff?
