"Ya seem smart enough...don't they have that GED test or whatever?" Max asked, glancing over her shoulder at the doodles.
"Yes...I just, what from there? I wasn't even sure I'd live to see nineteen...and now, I have a whole life to plan..."

"I don't see why you should worry about that. I've no particular plans myself. Still, don't let that limit your life, Violet. See what you find! Go for a GED, open your doors. Or don't, and find something else. It's up to you; enjoy it."

"Enjoy it...I'm still figuring out how," she said, chuckling sadly. It probably seemed so odd, a young woman like herself with no idea what to do. Her days so far had been spent...well, not too much differently than before. Just without the sadistic caretakers.
"I can totally set you up with some fun! I know, like, everybody...or, if ya wanna, I can get some people who'd appreciate your art..."
"Remy's made a name for himself with those paintings..." Tyler added, watching Jim make his rounds.

Charlotte tilted her head slightly. "Perhaps then you need to find out about yourself before you decide what to do? I imagine the disconnect's rather broad...or, perhaps I'm overthinking. What do you like to do? And, whatever your answer is, would you mind making a career of it?"
Fee yawned, bored, and started playing in the fruit bowl.

The small girl smiled. "Good...but, remember...there's no need for final decision, not for any of it at this level. Just try to find the you that you are at the moment."
"Keikii, Piigrii!" yelled Fee, running on all fours into the kitchen. Zippo hopped down and scampered after with a chirp, audibly skidding on the linoleum and spinning out, bopping into a cabinet.
"Oh my gosh, the cake! Excuse me!" she said hurriedly, running into the kitchen.

Tyler leaned back in a chair, staring up at the ceiling. No major projects, Stacy busy with cases again...too early for a run. What I wouldn't give for a distraction...

Tyler was startled by Laura's sudden appearance, his chair falling back and taking him with it. Careful what you wish for... He thought, pushing himself back to his feet. "Erm, congratulations...but I can't help but ask to whom," he said, adjusting his glasses and returning the chair to its upright position.

With a startled jump, Laura turned to face the mug, smiling gently as she peered to the contents. It was a sweet, little... thing. "Hi!" She chirped back, using a finger to pet its head.

Tyler rubbed the back of his head, watching her walk off with a frown...she really seemed so lonely, especially in the wake of that whole Enra problem. She really deserves someone...too bad I'm already spoken for. He thought, shrugging as he sat back down.
Terry walked in with a sigh, hanging his jacket on one of the hooks and looking about the relatively empty room. Only Tyler, and some sounds in the kitchen, hinted at life. He, oddly enough, didn't greet the genius, heading for the Drinkamajig back in the kitchen.
