There was a faint peach glow for a few moments, and it faded.

'When you get used to something..." he laughed, mellow. "What do we owe you?" he asked, hugging Eli ans he pouted.
"Nothing...this mishap was my mistake."
Marouse looked at the gloomy MacPere. "If I am not mistaken, that's a man in regret...some day, perhaps you should purchase this sphere?" He smiled at Tyler and Kristen. "Or would you rather give it a sampling?"

"...the thought is tempting, but I am uncertain about the nature of the exchange...what if the unfortunate partner were to be exposed to my psychic sensitivity?" Kristen protested, shaking her head. "I do not wish that on someone."

I have not tested it, and would not wish to burden you so." he explained calmly. "Myself, I would go as a few people for the mere joy of discovery, so that I may be a better man."
"Such as?"
"A sick man, an old man, perhaps a woman of any state, though an adult of any age...that is why this is a dangerous object. What if the unscrupulous had it? I must find it a good home."

Giving a hearty laugh, he adjusted the laptop's camera, beaming all the same. "Well, I'm glad you enjoyed them. I've been meaning to send things over for a long time... and daddy loves you too, Emily. Be good for Claude and your Grandmother, alright?"
"Okay Daddy! I'll make tea for when you and Daddy visit!"
"I'll help..."
"You do that, sweetheart, we'll be happy to drink. Oh, and don't forget the hats!"
"I woooon't!"
As Emily as Claude hustled from view of the camera, a silence fell over the room. Eleanora's gaze remained firmly in the lens whilst Eliwood fidgeted, neither sure of what to say. A few minutes passed of mouths opening and hesitating, all resulting in nought. Eliwood knocked back a quart of gin. If there was ever a time in his life to say it...
"H-Happy Mother's Day." He blurted out, eyes flicking back and forth from the screen.
A moment of silence. "Thank you. I really appreciate it. I... I still have the card you made me for Mother's Day when you were 9."
"Really?"
"Yes... Edouard hadn't quite seen it."
"Mm..."
"... I love you, Eliwood."
"I... love you too."

Gren yawned, strolling in quietly a moment after, hanging out of line of sight from camera and husband. He watched, affectionate. The childish, awkward sense of the room was oddly refreshing.
Meanwhile, outside, Adam hummed, working the perimeter of the Inn with a trowel and planting seedlings. "Hypoallergenic ought to work...pretty, not too fragrant..."

A curious head peeked out of the front window, surprised to find it open this early in the year. Then again, it was a pretty warm day. "Hello, Adam..." Violet greeted, watching him at work. "Flowers?"

"I understand that...here, I'll make a hole, and you drop one in about three inches in." he smiled, demonstrating. "Then you cover the top with the rest of the dirt and pack it down a little. Very easy stuff." He scooped out a fresh hole and made room for Violet.

Howard stepped downstairs, feelings mismatched. On one hand, he'd managed to learn what he'd been told was over half of the Chibish language. On the other, possibly the only woman (Was she a woman? It was hard to understand, that bit) he'd ever become attached to was practically missing, let alone missing in action. He scratched his bare chest as he went over to the counter, grabbing some red wine from the kitchen beforehand and pouring himself some.
"...Hmf."
