"It sounds easy enough," Violet grinned, kneeling next to him and gently placing the seedling in the ground before filling the hole around it. She could hear Charlotte and Howard faintly through the open window, but thought it best not to interrupt...especially considering she couldn't understand what they said.

Charlotte laughed. "Then let's quit for a while..heal up a bit! Chibish is a rough language for people who actually wear out in a reasonable amount of time."

Charlotte plucked Fee out of her ponytail and held him up, wiggling one of his arms. "But they don't really wear out because they've got no real bone structure...their level of lactic acid fermentation doesn't quite match their proportions. English is easier unless you really wanna talk to a chibi in Chibish; they'd understand if you don't wanna."
