"He was tired and stressed. We had to head back to the mansion to clean and stuff for his folks cuz they're coming home, but Orion and the triplets showed up and that was just too much for him."

"Whoa there."
He caught his slender form in his arms, carrying him to the couch before he woke up. Suddenly waking up in his arms might've not scared him, but perhaps his lap in the couch might be a tad more pleasant, He laid the catboy's head in his lap, the rest of his body on the couch while Enra sat at the end, brushing some of his hair out of his face and leading it into a stroke through his soft blonde hair.
"Awake yet, dear?"

Fee and Zippo charged down the stairs and squeezed beneath Felix's door, hopping onto the giant cat man and jumping up and down on his. "FIIIRIIIII!" he shouted. "WAAAAAZAAAAAAAAP!"

Albee stepped downstairs with his present, looking around. He held a surprisingly simple little wrapped present in his hands, and was in his adult form. He tied his hair back at the base of his neck, but led it around to fall in front of his right shoulder. He panned the Inn. The djinn figured that he would be a bit busy later, so he wanted to be sure to get his present to her as soon as possible, before he could possibly, and quite probably, be pulled away. Howard had even given him a key to a container in the kitchen, which was supposedly full of the cake for her birthday. He took a breath and smiled. Today would be a good day. He could feel it.

Upstairs, Charlotte tied her hair up neatly. She anticipated a quiet day. Not many people would arrive, but as long as a few people were, she'd be content. 'It's not as if he's been around for a long time...next time I see him, that boy's getting an earful. Not a single word, no note, nothing. So immature!'

As if to blow his last thought out of the water, he felt something cold slither through his spine, making him shake visibly for a moment.
"Eesh... What was that?"
He shrugged, taking a quiet seat at the counter with his present.
Enra smiled down at Enta, waving at him even as he lay in his lap.
"Hey. Sleep well?"

Eri and Emi yawned, sitting up elsewhere on Felix's bed. Sharing a glance, Eri pulled a funnel from his pocket, and Emi produced a bag of chocolate covered espresso beans. In one swoop, they stuck the funnel in Felix's mouth and dumped the beans.
Dusting off her skirts, Charlotte strolled down the stairs.

"And I've missed you..."
He held his cheek with a hand, looking fondly on his boyfriend.
"So I heard you got a little overwhelmed with Orion and the triplets."
