The tower was not terribly large, hewn from wood inlaid with ivory and ebony. there were no doors to close; rather, it was wide open for anyone to enter. Calm. Breezy. Welcoming.
Fee and Manny ran in without a second thought.

"This is...oddly inviting," Kristen muttered, entering the tower warily. Slight delays aside, this had almost been too easy...maybe Charlotte wanted them to wake her...
"X marks the spot...you're almost there..." Stella encouraged them from outside, not only eager to see them safe but to go elsewhere. She was growing hungry and a little eager for some movement.

Nothing harmful happened upon entry. The interior wound around, the wooden floor creaking in a friendly way. Fee and Zippo promptly ran into the kitchen. A staircase spun up the side of the room, leading to upper levels.
Gren purred quietly, kissing his cheek in return. "Biased..." he smiled, affectionate.

"If it helps, I think you're gorgeous, too," Azana beamed, always happy to boost Gren's ego a bit as she polished off her juice.
"I don't really swing that way, but I'll agree..." Sosol added.
"Spiral wooden staircase...the only potential trouble I foresee here is shoddy carpentry," Kristen said happily, beginning to climb the steps as the chibis helped themselves in the kitchen.

He blushed mildly, looking into his teacup. "Don't hurt yourself reaching for compliments, guys..."
The staircase squeaked, a small gust of wind blowing out a few small squeaking creatures, grey and hopping away with little scampers that sounded like sneezes, long ears trailing behind.

Kristen giggled as she caught glimpses of them, shaking her head. "Dust bunnies...of course..." She said quietly, continuing upward.
"Ya silly goose," Max said, walking in with a winded (ha!) Laimu in tow. "Pop a squat. Sol? This guy could use a drink."
"Right away," he nodded, wondering what on Earth the poet had been up to...

The second level was in red chintz furniture, set as a 1920's speakeasy, down to the Victrola player in the corner. The staircase had changed to suit the decor, leading to a third level.

Dorian followed Kirsten, wary of the stairs.
Felix followed behind the smaller duo, his greater bulk making the stairs squeak a little louder under his feet.

The stairs swayed pleasantly, bouncing back into shape. A crash and a cheep was heard downstairs, clearly havoc in the kitchen to be later cleaned.
