He'd become very fond of this piano in the time he'd stayed here. He did feel bad that he never really left, but what did he have to go back to? A frozen wasteland, alone and on the run...

Angeles rested her head on the table and breathed slowly. She had rarely ever lost her temper, but that was more often than not because she was around thing that were supposed to make her angry. Now that she was around humans who she could easily kill, perhaps she should work on not losing her temper as often.

Bringing the piece to a close, Gren sighed. Such a pretty tune, kind of nostalgic...relaxing as it was, it was also making him rather tired.
"Was that good, Angeles?" Looking over and finding her relaxing, he smiled, supposing it was.
Making sure that Rose was comfortable by the hearth, he carefully sneaked a pillow beneath her head. She had some odd habits, and clearly came from a strange home, but he felt she'd grow used to the Inn in time.

"Yes," said Angeles standing from the table and walking over to the piano, "thank you for playing it. May I play a piece?"

Angeles sat on the bench and looked at the keys, placing her fingers on the keys for the first notes, letting the silence linger and settle before beginning to play. (( Final Fantasy X - To Zanarkand ))

Gren closed his eyes and lsitened carefully to every note. It was a newer piece than the one he'd played, but a noble meoldy nonetheless.
(Excellent choice!)

Angeles closed her eyes and continued to play, swaying slightly to the music. it was a rather short piece and it seemed over too soon. her eyes opened and she looked over at Gren, "may I speak to you for a moment?"

Angeles led Gren into her room and shut the door offering him her bed to sit on as there was no chair.
"It's just a simple question," she said, "the people who changed you, are they still alive?"

Thinking for a moment, he grumbled "Yeah, probably. It's only been a couple of years. Why, was my blood that bad? I mean, the drugs should be out of there by now, even if my hormones are totally out of wack from them."

"Mmm...Sort of. The bounty's out on me for escaping prison, so I suppose that'd make those looking for me the police. But they let bounty hunters chase bounties, and I haven't been caught, so I assume nobody's really looking. But if you're looking for someone to blame for this, it's the prison's research department."
His face grew cold for a moment. "And as for the guy who got me landed there, well, I'll deal with him."
