"One does not grow up in Turkey without knowing how to make a curry." he grinned, passing out chai and fixing himself a plate. "I am also good at vindaloo."

"Fair point," Tyler nodded, feeling a little spoiled...chili, and now curry? There was a reason he stuck around so often...aside from the whole low profile thing.

"I feel like I'm celebrating," Azana set down the plate, beaming. "Terry's program's been harsh, but I really think it's working..."

"Has it? Training for what?" he asked, curious. "You do quite a bit already."
PostPosted: Sun Apr 17, 2011 8:56 pm

"Yeah...it's basically the equivalent of the Olympics, but for metaphysical groups like mine," Azana explained between bites. "Terry's needed a training partner that could keep up...I'm the closest thing, but man, he's intense when he wants to be."

"I'd offer, but I'm not quite in that shape. I'll stick to my runs, thank you."

"Ah...things of which I neither do nor understand." he nodded sagely. "Who is Terry?"
PostPosted: Sun Apr 17, 2011 9:08 pm

"Someone call?" Terry asked, just arriving downstairs. He was still in workout clothes, opting to change later.

"Marouse, Terry. Terry, Marouse," Azana said, gesturing to the braided man.

"Oh, I've heard of you...nothing bad, I promise." He said cheerfully, crossing the floor and offering his hand. "I think Azana already handled the introductions. It's a pleasure to meet you."

Marouse shook the hand offered, humming observation. "You also have an affinity for long hair? Most admirable. Please, help yourself to the curry..."

(Time for bed, sorry...good night!)

"Thank you...it's about time I found someone who gets it. Well, besides Gren..." He chuckled, taking some curry. "If it's anything like that chai of legend, I'm in for a treat."

Laimu sat in his fireplace space, fiddling with his materia. He'd gone out to practice it a few more times, even getting out an Aerora when he had the energy. It wasn't just fun; there was something fulfilling in knowing that he had a viably useful skill. Looking around, it seemed that everyone seemed to be capable in a fight. And now, he had at least some power.

But that set aside, his mind was actually on other things still. The tournament. He'd forgotten to get the actual fate of the competition, and had failed to ask Kristen the last time they had talked. He shrugged to himself. He would ask the next time they met. He had even prepared a small knapsack to bring along just in case the competition was the day he asked. He was never one to but food where he went, instead preparing some chicken salad sandwiches and a large bottle of water. And, like the poet he was, there was also a pad of paper and a pencil. He didn't care much if anyone saw him drawing at a tournament.

Also sharing the downstairs area was Albee. He'd started to feel more and more like himself again, but with a newer sense of self. For now, he sipped some orange soda. He was enjoying the fact that he could now drink whatever he wanted, three glasses in front of him consisting of the orange soda he'd sipped, a Ramune, and grape juice.

Gren strolled down the stairs with a somewhat larger Fritz. "Hello, Laimu, Albee...why so quiet?"

"Dun--."
"--no."

Albee and Laimu looked at each other, then burst out laughing, both. Albee answered first.

"I'm drinking a bunch of stuff!"

"I'm just having a small respite from... um. Sitting? I really don't know..."

He eyed the kitten with a gleam in his eye.

"Cat~"

Albee saw the feline as well, recognizing him.

"Hey, you... Haven't seen you since you had to go have your... erm, appointment."

Gren chuckled, handing Fritz to Laimu. "He's been wanting out...he's gotten bigger, anyway."

Fritz purred, mellow.

Laimu accepted him gratefully, laying him in his lap and cooing to the calico.

"Yer a cute thing~"

Albee thought for a bit, gulping down the last of his drink. Those three seemed preoccupied and ready to continue a conversation, but he still had a certain young girl to look for. He had a brain that needed fixing, and was unsure of how to go about it exactly.

"Hey, Gren, do you think Charlotte's up?"
PostPosted: Mon Apr 18, 2011 11:18 am

Fritz immediately settled down and nuzzled into Laimu's elbow pit.

Gren shrugged. "Her door looked normal, but it was closed...go have a look?"

Laimu stroked thin fingertips across her back and around her neck, smiling softly as he tended to him.

The djinn nodded, making his way upstairs.

"Thanks, Gren!"

He made his way to Charlotte's room, strolling up and knocking a few times.

"Char? You up?"
