He watched the green fruit as it was sliced.
"But my brain is turning grayer than usual... I've been drawing, doing music doohickeys, watched TV, done stuff for Eli... even Enta is asleep so I can't exactly ask him out anywhere right now."
Enra picked up a fork and stood it on its prongs, leaning it slightly to make it dance a pirouette on one point.
"And now I'm pulling a blank."

He noted the jump in his voice as he spoke, curiousity piqued. People around here... secrets and personal stories, galore. No wonder he'd been so attracted to this Inn when he was a Keeper.
"All right then~"
He got up out of his seat, waking some distance away from the bar so that he could see him. He got to one knee as if to propose, then spread his arms wide in presentation, grinning.
"Gren, can you make something fun happen?"

He noted a slight twinge in Gren, something about it making him feel horrible somehow. Now it was his turn to stumble over a word or two, walking over to the machine to look through songs.
"U-Um... How's... um...."
Enra flicked frantically through each song, giving up and just pointing to one.
