Hope everyone had a great St Paddy's Day!

Well, recovery update time ... it's been one week since surgery. Have been to 2 physical therapy sessions. Doing the exercises and getting pretty good range of motion. Therapist pleased. Also not having much pain except at night. Taking only a half of Vicodin at night only (pretty sore at night after doing four sets of exercises (each set taking about 45 minutes) a day. I'm determined to be fully functional without crutches and leg immobilizer as soon as possible.

Saw the doctor today. Got the sutures out of the four puncture areas used for the surgery (they're only 1/4 to 1/2 inch long - yippee!). He's very happy about the surgery and my recovery so far. I get to do some mild weight bearing on the right leg now and, even better, I get also get into the shower now! Woot! He also said he wants to get me out of the leg immobilizer and off the crutches in next couple of weeks (great minds think alike!). I'm to continue physical therapy for the next six weeks until I see the doctor again. So, life is good here!

Gonna scoot for now. Exercise time. biggrin

Went over to the DragCave Guild to see if they had any info about the Cave and its problems for the last few days. Found a link in the Cave Forum and copied this information from TJ's post...

Until the cave speeds up again, I've disabled the creation of new eggs. You can still obtain eggs through breeding or on the abandoned page.

So, that's what's going on with the Cave. I can't find any mention about the current time/count status of our eggs and hatchlings (re: if time is being credited to them or not). Hopefully we'll be able to get on soon and save any dragons in need.

Will continue to try to access the Cave and update/edit the Incubator and Infirmary as soon as we're able. 3nodding

are we? he's not hatching/maturing them???? crap!

Have been cruising the Cave Forum and general consensus is that TJ will credit back the time and should "revive" any lost/dead eggs and hatchlings. Will have to wait and see.

Till then, the Cave is still down. neutral rolleyes

Cave is up, sort of. It's barely loading. Had about 30 seconds earlier where I managed to take a look at my egg, see it's running low (no amount of walking helps when they don't load in in a reasonable amount of time on people's threads), and attempt walking. Swung through here to grab babies, but it's a crap shoot on what loads. stressed I'm patiently waiting on the first page to see if they will all load...

grrr... patiently waiting has loaded maybe half the dragons. And now the page thinks it's done. To refresh is to start over... I've been through this before. Prospects don't look good for me tonight.

I can sometimes get my scroll but not right now. I agree, Aldora. This is very frustrating. Hopefully this will eventually be sorted out, all the timers reset, and all the lost eggs and hatchlings revived. *sigh* neutral

Here's a site that several the Forum folks have been using to check the Cave's status ... www.eggswillbedragons.com . On the left there is a lag-o-meter icon. Press it and it will give you the Cave's lagtime/status.
