"It's hard to get them to stay still...but I think I have a butterfly or two somewhere." She began to flip through a few books herself, immediately shoving any aside that had the darker pictures from her days worrying about Ka-- her.
Max watched Remy paint, frowning as he looked to the door...was he expecting someone?
"Penny for your thoughts...?" She whispered, knowing he could easily hear.

Remy glanced to Max with a look of 'you know precisely what I'm worried about, and yes, it's for real this time', then smiling.
Adam nodded. "I can imagine..." he hummed, peering over her shoulder, not asking about the tossed-aside documents. 'I wonder...if anyone ever draws earthworms.'

Hana looked to his 'twin', pondering the thought. "I guess I should... Don't want to impose on the lovely couple~" He purred, wiggling his fingers at the duo.

Ueki caught the look betwen Remy and Max. He'd seen looks like that far too many times. The last time he saw something like that, he'd woken up half-dead with his friend stabbed through the stomach by metal poles...
"Captain Rembrandt... what's going on."
Enra nodded, smirking at Hana.
"That we wouldn't."
He beamed as his catboy spoke, grinning.
"Pancakes! With strawberries and whipped cream! And make some for both of us!"

Enra watched fondly as he left, watching as the tip of his white tail disappeared from sight.
"Haa... I'm a sick guy, for being so happy..."
"Mm, I bet."
He covered himself in his cape.
"I remember I wasn't very good at back flips, kept landing on my head... But I got the hang of it after a hundred or so times."

Max blinked, watching Remy pass it off as nothing to Ueki. She hadn't thought about that...they had been warned, yes, but what else was affected by King's presence and actions? Were things being sped up?
Can't think about it too much, or I'll start tweakin', too. I'll just talk to some experts...
"Here we go!" She said at last, flipping it open to butterflies and a few beetles that had sat still long enough. "If this is more up your alley, I can try and find more around here...the woods down the way are full of 'em."

"Dude, I know!" Max beamed, doing a twirl. "This is so--OMG."
In the doorway stood a figure not seen around in a couple weeks, a relieved smile on her face at being "home" again. "Max...are you becoming a superheroine again?"
"That's certainly you," Azana chuckled, not far behind and proudly displaying her silver medal.
"And who might you be? I'm sorry I haven't been around to meet you," Sosol added, his attention as usual on the new faces.
