Azana stood and vanished into the kitchen, emerging with a can. The moment the tab popped, Moonbeam launched herself from Adam's lap, her landing dash slowing to a happy trot as she wove herself around Azana's legs. "Voila..." She said, overturning the can and emptying its contents into her bowl.

"Max said it's kind of like a segway...have you ever used one?" Azana asked him, wondering if she should follow along on her broom...just in case.
Violet had finished the sketch, holding it out at arm's length and comparing it to Adam. I hope he enjoys his flight...

"Maybe you should go outside...I can just see you lifting off and hitting your head..." Violet said, flicking her gaze upward.

Adam looked up. "I don't plan to go far...and what if I can't stop going up? I don't mind hitting my head if it means I've only so little to fall." he said calmly. "I'll mend easily."
He tried the partial jump.

Azana watched in anticipation, but frowned when nothing happened. "I guess we can ask her tomorrow," she said, looking at her watch. "It's getting late, anyway."
Violet yawned, scooping up her books and heading for the stairs...tired was good. It certainly beat those anxiety attacks and the sleepless nights they induced.

The next morning, Sosol was back to his usual routine of being the early riser of the couple, remembering that he still had a job to do. So far, so good, it seemed...almost every other time they left the Inn for an extended leave, they came back to some sort of major trouble.
Don't want to jinx it...
